That isn’t a balcony, it’s called a deck. You can always buy a different shower head if you don’t like the one already installed. Take your time, get settled and in due time you can get things the way you’d like.

I was telling her she can get her own personal washing machines to avoid opening the door and going down alway.

Most of the apartments in US don’t have locking bedroom doors at least in older apartments . I think the reason for no locks is because a child could lock themselves by accident in a room and can’t get out. Check to see if there is a key for your locks. Good luck and happiness in your new apartment.
The locks don't have a key but can be easily opened with anything like spoon, any key, ear rings and even finger nails 😀. Thank you so much sis 💖💖💝💓❤️❤️

We were planning to move to Canada, o r the UK, from Belgium 🇧🇪, but we first went to UK 🇬🇧, the schooling over there is amazing but house problems… hard to find a house over there, the landlords over there are not good.. it’s was a struggle… even the council couldn’t do anything about it. After 1yr, we came back to Belgium 🇧🇪, I decided not to go anywhere again. It’s was really painful after all the struggles and expense, it’s all went to waste
