It was an incredible weekend at the Peppermill. It was great getting to meet you along with all the other influencers at the Light and Wonder event. Peppermill is the complete package and a fantastic place to be. Great video Matthew!
Thank you for highlighting my Disneyland. Love this place for so many reasons. Next time you're there try a Chocolate Banana while gambling or at the Fireside lounge.
Me and a bud stayed there last October and it was phenomenal. We were there for 3 days and never left the property except to go to a concert at the GSR. Love the peppermill and can’t wait to go back.
Peppermill Casino is the best in Reno. They have such amazing vibe and cleaner air all across the casino floors, unlike most older casinos have a strong smoking odor everywhere you go. Must be a reward membership too, to earn comp points towards purchases and especially free stays and awesome promos. They have a few great options of restaurants to eat without wasting your time going outside of the resort for good classy restaurants, like Bimini. Great content!
thanks for this video, Matthew. Atlantis and Grand Sierra Resort (aka GSR) are nice, but Peppermill is my go-to in Reno. i live in San Francisco, so it's a lot easier for me to go to Reno than LV - just a four hour drive. i would have been freezing standing outside when you said it wasn't that cold, but since you're from Canada, that really was nothing for you. 🙂 i do prefer the Tuscany Tower over the Peppermill Tower even though it's a longer walk. i've never tried the North and West Wings, a more budget-friendly alternative, but i'm sure they're a good value. and like you, i just enjoy the vibe and atmosphere of Peppermill. i'm very comfortable there. it suits me more than most resort casinos. thanks again, sir!! 🙂👍
I love staying, dining, and playing at the Peppermill. I used to go to Reno every other weekend and would almost always stay at the Peppermill because of their good food, nice rooms with great views, and friendly atmosphere. They're very generous with their promotions, tournaments, and comps. The whole place is very clean and kept up very well. I think that if you're a person who goes to Vegas for mainly the gambling, you might be better off going to Reno instead. No place charges for parking, there are lower table game minimums, and I believe the slot payouts are better too. I love this video, Matthew. Great job!!
#PeppermillPays I'm not a fan of the cold, but the snow even looked inviting at that place! You did an excellent job showing this property! Between this place and the Grand Sierra putting in Fountains and an arena, Reno could be hopping in a few years!
Live in Carson City. In my opinion, the best individual casino/resort in Reno. Followed by Grand Sierra Resort, and the Atlantis. Excellent poker room too!
Matthew, you are an excellent promoter for the Peppermill! Stayed there over 20 years ago, and it was a very nice (but much smaller) casino resort even then.
This brings back so many memories! Me and my family have been going to Peppermill for 2 decades ever since I was a kid. We stopped going due to covid but I do my yearly trips to Vegas instead now due to all of the comps I get. We miss the snow crab buffet they had. Thanks for giving me a look into what it now looks like. Maybe we'll go back
Im there at least monthly for a weekend and I absolutely love the smell of the spa when I get out of the elevators (Tuscany Tower elevators on the spa side).
I have been to Reno once, 20+ years ago on my way to Lake Tahoe, but for only one day. I do remember the Peppermill. In fact I believe it was snowing that time too. Thanks for reminding me. 👍 Paul
Hi Mathew! My husband and I were just talking about coming out to Reno, Nv. in July. Rates are looking real good. Thank you for the info about Peppermill!
Ive been to Reno many times, but only to the Peppermill once it's off the beaten path and I just never gave it much thought. I pretty much stayed on casino row.
Thanks for posting this one! I was supposed to stay a night here a couple years ago on the tail end of a Lake Tahoe trip but had to cancel due to a huge wildfire in the area. Was really bummed to not make it to Tahoe but also to not make it to the Peppermill. Haven't had the chance to try again yet, but I'll be looking forward to it after your review!
We are planning a 2 day comp stay here in August / thanks for the great review / cant wait for our trip / We are staying in the Tuscani tower suite / we will eat at the cafe you ate at / menu is the same as Las Vegas / thanks again
Hi 👋🏻 Matthew, love your review of this place. I was in Reno in 2005 but I don’t remember which hotel I stayed in. I guess it wasn’t the pepper mill. I appreciate your videos and thank you for transporting me back to Reno because it makes me want to go back. Please give a big hug to cute Leo for me and I hope to see you in Las Vegas again one day!! Totally enjoyed meeting you.
Great job on the review. You were spot on showcasing this property. The weekends are jammed packed! Lots of machines to choose from. Some aisles it’s a tight squeeze because the machines are so close to each other.
Awesome. The food at the sports book is really good. Try the nachos and pizza. There is cool bar next to the fireside lounge that a dude has worked there for over 20+ years. Pretty cool to talk with. If you are tight on cash Ruby River is right across the street. They have good steaks and drinks at good prices
Hi matthew another Canadian who is from Kitchener waterloo visit reno twice a year and split the week between atlantis and peppermill after going to reno will not return to Vegas glad you had a great time what took you so long to get there
I just got back from Reno a week or so ago. I always stay in Sparks at Western Village (a Peppermill property). I'd rather stay in Sparks but always visit the Peppermill for sure. I love Reno, it's not Las Vegas at all.
Matthew, I understand that you were in Reno for an invited slot tournament. Would you ever really consider going back if it wasn't for a sponsored event and using your own money? I mean, I don't really see any advantages to going to Reno instead of to Las Vegas. I have only been to Reno three times in my life. When I was very young (maybe 6 or 7), my family stayed at Circus Circus. As an adult, I have gone twice: once to attend an advanced weapons training course in Sparks and once because all of the Las Vegas DMV appointments to renew my Nevada Seasonal Resident ID were booked out for months, so I figured it was relatively easy to make the drive from California to Reno because their DMV had plenty of open spots. Both of the times I went as an adult, I stayed at Silver Legacy. I have no intention of ever going up to Reno again unless there is a reason for it. There just isn't much to do there. But if I do go, I might consider checking out Peppermill.
@@davidpresta4549Correct. I'm not a big drinker or gambler. But even if I were, they have those things in Vegas as well. My point is that I see no advantage to going to Reno over going to Las Vegas because Vegas is superior in every way that I can think of. I mean, it's one thing if you already have to be in the Reno area for some other reason. But it's quite a different story to deliberately choose to make a trip to Reno to partake in its casino resorts.
@VoteAdnanShahab peppermill treats me so well that when I go I only spend a couple hundred for gambling. Free suites for 3 days $150+ free play and comp multipliers means free massages and spa days. I don't pay for food. These offers are available to me multiple times monthly. No way I could go to Vegas for $200 for 3 days and gamble for hours, enjoy a spa day and est for free.
I was at the Nugget a couple of months ago to play Bingo. I hadn't been there in many years, and I was really impressed with the upgrades they've made. It was really nice.
The comps are excellent. Monthly I have multiple offers for $150 FP and 3 nights free on those suites. Then if you go during a comp multiplier it's even better. I use the comps for a massage and spa day. I usually only take a couple hundred to gamble with. It's only a couple hours away and turns out to be a really affordable luxury weekend.

I might go to the peppermill Reno now after watching this video 🤩🤩 the fact the pool is heated while is snowing is so cool.
