I 💗 Laura Cox. Her rock/country twang sounds so pleasing to the ear. It’s amazing how she found her sound with a single bridge P90 and Orange with a pair of V30. Wish I was that good. I need a bunch of pickups, knobs and pedals to cover up my lack of talent. Captain Lee and the Andertons videos are great.
What a delightful interview and young lady. Well done Captain, great questions and dialog. Incredible guitarist and seems like a very down to earth young lady. She inspires me and an old guy.
Big big fan from the United States. Hopefully she will bring her talents here and tour for a while allowing many who don't know her yet a chance to see what a great musician she really is. Come on over Laura!!
Great interview of a musician that is the role model for the modern path to success. Love her rocker style of play - that Gibby LP Jr. sounds killer!!!
Just keep trying ! i am 64 having tried many times to learn, i have small hands and have found a guitar to realy learn on, an Ibanez with a thin flat neck, fender necks are just to thick for me.
I have been following Laura for a while, she's a wonderful guitarist, wow! I am loving how Captain is holding his own nowadays with the guests on the show.
Laura is awesome. She is a very passionate person it seems, which makes her interesting as a guitarist and a person. She developed her skills as a guitarist and made it her own. Very cute and humble and talented ofcourse...keep up the good work Laura!
Lee your soloing over the last 2 years has achieved a new level of musicality and phrasing. You are now the one I listen to over Rob and Pete these days...fabulous stuff.
I've been watching Laura and you for some time. Thoroughly enjoyed this interview. She seems more down to earth than I would have expected. That's a good thing!!! Thanks for this video. And yes Laura you sing quite well.
I've watched her from her first youtube post and she has grown into such an AMAZING guitarist. SO PROUD of the success she's achieved. RIGHT ON for you Laura!!
I was super excited to see this. I’ve been watching Laura since the beginning so to see her on Anderson’s TV is AWESOME. She sounds better than ever and looks...yeah.
Perfect accompaniment to Sunday breakfast. Thanks for the awesome content. You guys bust your balls with all the filming and editing to keep us plebs happy.
Ive followed Laura for 8 years or so. After the 2nd or 3rd year that she was doing videos, she got better at guitar then me and she's still better than me. Laura rocks.
Great thing about being aware of someone while still up and coming is the small face to face gigs. Laura played a midweek gig last year at my local biker bar to about 20 of us. Won't get that anymore now.
Everything's perfect Laura, your play, your voice, your English ! I heard you and your band in the guitar festival of Patrimonio in Corsica and you soloed among the crowd on a crew member's shoulders at the end of the concert for 6 or 7 minutes. What a show ! Hoping to hear you soon in South of France !
I cannot believe I just discovered this gem. Rock and Roll is alive and well in her hands. Love the songs, the melodies, the vocals, the band, the albums and of course the guitar playing. Please come to the U.S. when this virus craziness is over and bring the band!!
Awsome. Its very kind of you guys to help Laura get some exposure. I discovered her a few yeara ago. She has a ton of talent and deserves a shot at the big time.
I have watched her since she was 16, it’s amazing the talent she has become. She speaks excellent English, a great talent , smart and great to look at. A first class player, her band is excellent. Keep it up and I wish you all the success as possible. Keep it up.
I’ve been watching Laura and her band from very early on as well. It was her cover of “All Right Now” by Free that hooked me! She just had the drive to “go big” and it showed through on her videos! Congratulations on your success Laura! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks for bringing Laura on. I have been fallowing her for about 8 years and she is very awesome in her playing. Now that she has gotten her band, recording, and concert gigs these last few years she has really matured in her music. Great interview Captain.
I just came across this, been watching Laura for a few years now. Lee, you are on your way to being a celebrity soon, you're a natural interviewer, great player and very knowledgeable. And a nice guy. Who knows , you might even have people like Santana on your channel one day ( lol )
Great video and interview. Laura is a really talented player and I’ve been following her channel for years. It’s nice to hear her background story and see how down to earth she is. Thanks
You'll over on that side of the world are so lucky to be able to see/hear her and her band play... I look forward to the day when they make their way over this side of the pond... Adoring fan in Arizona
@Trunk McEight I should probably show my workings. I'd long thought Cox wasn't a usual French name then at one point there was a comment on her Facebook from a family friend that her dad responded to and he was from originally Bedford or somesuch. Wasn't stalking, honest!
she hit the nail on the head, les paul jr shares some really interesting characteristics with tele. single cut, minimal routs, mostly a hunk of resonant wood with simple electronics. brilliant and timeless.
Great interview. She seems very down to Earth. A great inspiration for anyone afraid to make the move from front-room practice to live performance. Hopefully she’ll inspire more women to get into rock guitar too. I feel kinda sick sometimes when I realise how few of the players I know and love are female.
Rich Monks Lol. Thousands of views but only hundreds of viewers! Me too. I probably have about 100 views each too!! Has been fun to watch her grow over the years!!
10:08 You're being too modest(e). When you see a Laura Cox video, you're struck at once by the playing (and her attitude). You never forget her anymore. You're just iconic.
Thank you Laura for your inspirational review.I am 69 and am starting to play guitar.I played a little back when I was in my twenties but a person needs to continue to keep finger and yourself in shape to become good at it.I have your CD and I really like it.I hope you a lot of success.Rock on I love your Push to become great.
Yes!! Laura cox been watching her for years now! Played well together! Your getting really good Cap!! Letting it flow!! Rock on!! Awesome les paul jr too!! Great interview guys!!
Tremendous player, cool personality and beautiful as hell! Great guest, Andertons! These Captain meets series is so badass. Thanks for doing this videos!
Watching some of Laura's videos on my other screen while listening to the interview. Turns out there aren't many I haven't watched at some point. Always enjoy them, thanks Laura.
Much respect to Laura for tackling an extended interview in English. Not an easy thing.
Well yeah, but I'm assuming she speaks english pretty well, so, it's something normal to have interviews in english.
Absolutely
Awesome guitarist
It is very easy for Laura to speak English because her Father is English.
I’ve been following Laura on RUclips since she started. She is a brilliant musician. Thanks for having her on Andertons!
Matt Mckivigan Same here. She's really grown. Good for her.
I started playing guitar when she started her RUclips channel ....
I have too ...huge fan!!!!!
Same here. Really improved over the years
So have we... Truly one of the next upcoming blues musicians! Glad you enjoyed the interview :)
She is so honest and pure. So nice to see. No ego.
So much talent around, yet Laura has something special. she ROCKS.
She has an organic style. She’s no bullshit. That’s what makes her cool, and what makes her a player I like to listen to.
Her sound is pure rock guitar. Refreshing these days.
I'm in love with her, her playing and her singing. Can't wait to see her on tour.
I’m Like You Brother, I Fell in Love With Her When I Saw and Heard Her…..She Has The Sound, The Look, and She is Extremely Intelligent……SHE JAMMS!!!

Epic intro. Starting at age 14 is starting late? No wonder I'm struggling having started at 49!
Not just me thinking EXACTLY that then 😂😂
It feel like the fingers can’t move...
49? You're just a child, I didn't start until I was 63, but I'm trying.
Over here at 43. No we can do this. No illusions of grandeur, but I am having a hell of a lot off fun and it does keep me out of trouble.
Just keep trying ! i am 64 having tried many times to learn, i have small hands
and have found a guitar to realy learn on, an Ibanez with a thin flat neck, fender
necks are just to thick for me.
Laura is so sweet and genuine, what a great guitar player, I love her !!
I have been following Laura for a while, she's a wonderful guitarist, wow! I am loving how Captain is holding his own nowadays with the guests on the show.
She’s awesome. Thanks for having her on, Captain
Great interview. Refreshingly modest and honest answers. I wish her much luck with her band.
He wasn’t very good. He improved an incredible amount.
It’s not often that Lee outplays the guest. This is one of those occasions. Way to go, man.
@@gville001 couldnt agree more...

Thanks to the Captain for doing this interview.
Superbly well done and Laura looked like she loved it!
Love that she knows about Blackberry Smoke. That would be a cool Captain Meets next time they’re in the UK.
Absolutely! My favorite band as well and would be my dream band to play with.
Amazing woman. What an inspiration. Laura, you have a beautiful smile 😊. Keep playing 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
Laura cox is the one who inspired me to learn and buy my gibson sg hp 2019

I watched Laura's new video 'Freakin' Out Loud'. Such a great song. Good to hear great rock n roll still being made. Thanks Laura!
I love that she is so humble. And Captain Lee's playing is so good now.
Seriously I have been following Laura for the better part of 10 years.. im so glad the captain got her on !

What a great interview. I love how modest she is and admire her love for playing. Her new video is class! Extraordinary guitar solo! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
@Shaun Kellison I'd like to hear your playing. Do you have a link?
@Shaun Kellison you remember me BBKing playing his soul out with 2 or 3 simple notes with vibrato.
HAD to come back and watch her. Followed her since she began. GREAT VIDEO. THANK YOU
I have watched her live with her band in Germany. And she is a killer performer.
Laura is awesome, I've been following her on RUclips since the early days! happy to see her going up step by step!

Goosecore 4120 and counting..😉
No offence, but no chance.
Goosecore 🤣 Was never that important to me.. Moved on to whats new in guitar string technology..👍🇦🇺
I put Lollar pickups in a guitar after watching Laura. It’s been brilliant watching her success grow. Thanks for doing this.
She turned me on to Bacchus guitars, I have a few of the MIJ models. GREAT guitars!
She seems so genuine. I think i knew that from her playing already. She's cool.
Yes! Laura Cox is awesome! Glad you got her on the show.
It's great watching someone getting better and better with their playing.😊👍
Very inspirational.
WoW Captain does read the comments. I asked for this exact interview a few weeks ago! Great show guys. Thanks Captain.
Love her. Very genuine, and she has a hell of right hand.
I really adore Laura Cox,...She is a fine guitarist and musician...Her vocals have been good and getting better.

Got to go some to top Tommy Emmanuel!😃
Been following Laura on RUclips for many years. She is a total bad ass.
She is incredible. Follow here for years on RUclips. Unfortunately had to miss her concert in The Netherlands.

Yeees... Laura is great player & briliant musician👍👍👍👍
Laura thanks for keeping classic rock alive today! We need more Rock Roll bands.
I love what Laura brings out of her guitar.
What a great player Laura is 👍 👌 👏. The Captain is really up thier too.
It’s so humbling that not only is she a great guitar player, but her English is better than a lot of native English speakers. 😊
Her dad's British.
Embarrassing really 😂 She is great to be sure.
Mark Holland that explains a lot.

Andertons have always embraced female artists, especially female guitar players so respect for that. Nice interview as ever.
Bryan Clarke agreed
"Embraced"? What, interviewing females? Ground-breaking stuff right there.

Lol just realised Laura is talking about all the stuff she is doing in 2020....oof.....I wonder how much of it actually happened?
I'm a simple man. I see a french lady in a leather jacket playing a junior, I click like.
I'm sure most of you are enjoying the chat that they are having, but I'm eyeing that Metal Zone behind Lee.
I love the Laura Cox Band . . Soooo good !!
What a great video on my Birthday. I've been watching Laura's guitar videos forever. Nice to learn the story behind the talent. Thanks.
When she lets loose on those big old Gibsons, especially that Explorer, I feel it down to my toes, goosebumps, goosebumps, goosebumps😊😊😊
Only 2 buttons on that Gibson.
I love Laura Cox and how soulful she plays. Hopefully next year or 2021 leads to a North American tour
