After watching tons of reviews of Nothing 1, a loose verdict: Buy this phone for anything but the much hyped Glyph Interface. Here's why: 1. Most of the budget conscious users will put a case eventually. 2. Non-customisable. 3. No point reading the charging bar from Glyph interface when you can do it directly from the main screen at a glance. 4. No point of using it for illumination when flash is already there. Having said this, it just adds cool factor for showing off but its actually functionality is minimal. Most of us will get bored of it after a month or two. What Nothing could have done in this phone: 1. Since it's a mid-range phone starting 32k, the luxury of wireless charging could have been compromised to bring down its price to 29,999. Most of the mid-range customers won't bother to buy additional expensive wireless chargers but instead chose to use wired chargers with much higher wattage and cheaper price. Moreover, at this price range, a 65W charging support should have been provided like its competitors. 2. Like the favourite erstwhile Oxygen OS, some basic additional customisation option could have been provided alongside its clean stock android OS. 3. While elimination of thick chin at the bottom is appreciated, the bezels could have been a bit thinner. 4. Speaker quality could have been improved. 5. Display Brightness could also have been improved a bit. 6. Glyph Interface could have been customisable for better functionality. Final Verdict: This phone clearly focus on quality hardwares and clean OS experience. In short, it tried to put the soul of a budget Google Pixel in the body of an iPhone. Definitely not for gamers and youngsters (they can find many more powerful iQOO, Poco, Mi or Realme alternatives at this price) but for more matured users looking for good hardware and clean UI exp.
So that people will spend more on their high end variants which have more storage..all are following apple strategy. Next they will stop giving charger.
I got it from last 2 years and it gives best service... Dimensity processer is much better.... No warming issue even when using bluetooth and portable hotspot....
