The Lead Vocalist doesn't necessarily lead the whole song, the Lead and Main Vocalist's role is to sing the parts that are difficult and the Sub Vocalists can't really do without straining. The positions don't really affect the line distribution that much since the part would be given to the member who can sing the part the best.
I guess this could've been distributed differently to give Eunice some more lines, her parts sound really amazing here! 2:35 literally made my jaw drop the first time... And props to everyone here, especially Yebin's little ad libs at the end, those were really pretty ~

When I look at groups position and line distributions, both isn't important at all, I only count 1 main vocal and about 2/3 lead vocals. the rest of the member are just regular vocalist. Positions where created by company for fans to distinguish between members, and also give a reason why a certain member(s) is in the group. Jueun: Limited vocal range(?), has the fullest and belting voice in DIA. Eunice: Limited vocal range(?), thin and airy belting high note, and sometime sound flat Yebin: Limited vocal range, melodic voice, but very thin and nasal.

Yebin suitable for the song the most so she is main vocal of this song, jueun is really stable for high note also the best technique one of dia so she is also main vocal but Eunice has the best voice and handle the most challenging parts so the cyber main vocal must be Eunice... The other 2 depends on the concept
