It did if you love Saints Row 1 and 2. The reboot is much closer to those games than 3 and 4. There is so much detail in the game and it looks really good. Just a lot of bugs, but those can be patched out. I love that they did this for Idolninja. It gave me goosebumps.
I talked with Mike a few times and still have him on steam, He was such a funny talented gentleman he will be missed. I'm really glad volition put him into the game it means so much to everyone he worked really hard on this title ❤️
Not quite. (SPOILERS) There's numerous references and easter eggs showing stuff from the older games. Including Johnny Gat, the legendary Mehrman, the alien ship from Saints Row 2 and much more.
He's a Saints Row modder most known for his Gentleman of The Row mod, he's the only reason SR2 became somewhat playable on PC in the first place. He was also hired as Volition's community manager and found the source code for SR2 in 2019. He and another person at Volition were working on a patch of SR2 on Steam, but unfortunately he passed away last year from cancer.
