Hey Retro, my friend and I are working on a major mod (20 symbols, nearly a dozen items+essences) that we plan to drop this weekend or the next. It's themed around the different types of energy generation we have today, renewable vs nonrenewable, etc. We're internally calling it the Exxon mod, but hopefully I'll have it up on the workshop soon!
RUclipsrs like you giving this game's mods from the workshop a go is what motivated us to build something more polished and balanced (hopefully) so we can get showcased and continue tweaking the mod/building a family of interoperable mods.

Me too! I'm not close to completing anything, but my plan is to expand the bartender to make more drinks based around the fruits in the game

I guess it is not completely broken before the boss fight. Only after hitting the 13 a ton of times. Well and that kind of stuff happening is the rhythm of the core game. There's a reason for Guilloutine being in the base game.

Ideas for something to try in vanilla: Always take left/middle/right symbol; no removal run; all cat run

Always take a certain spot would almost certainly be impossible and also boring. Even just always taking something and you get to pick one would be extremely difficult
