My question for all the open area is what happens when you fill them with furniture, etc and then go on a long journey. Where and how does everything get lashed down?
I like that you used the term rope and lines. Rope remains rope until it is given an assignment aboard the boat. Once the Rope has been given that status it now becomes a line. The only rope with an assignment is the piece attached to a water bucket because it does not belong to the boat it belongs to the bucket so it remains a rope and not a line . Just a little FYI for those who did not know. Take care
Indeed. But countered ever so slightly by a reference to the "back" of the boat, as opposed to "aft" or "stern". But overall it was a nice presentation and a sneak peek at the exterior, and that is the important thing. ;-)
It's going to be interesting to compare the internal layout between N80-01 & N80-02. It appears that the 01 lost the SB double bunk cabin and gave the space to the forward SB "VIP" cabin! This is all per N80 GA.
