Episode 165: Jealousy And Fear

In this episode, Malhar Rao Holkar has called "Rangrao", his secret agent, and has asked to fetch up information about the explosion that had happened in Ahilya's way back to Malwa. He wants to know if this plan was of some enemy or of someone close to them. Later, Malhar Rao Holkar shares his concern with Ahilya about the empire and she assures him that everything will be alright. On the other hand, when Ahilya came late to the "aarti", Tukoji's wife taunts her because she has always been treated differently instead of being a normal daughter-in-law in this palace. The Episode starts with Malhar saying I want the info about the attack, is the attacker an outsider or any traitor in the palace, I won’t be here, you can meet Ahilya anytime, no one else should know this. Rangrao says sure, permit me to leave. Gunu ji and Dhana ji have a talk. Malhar says I want to see Malwa free from all the problems, I want to make Malwa stronger. Ahilya says Shiv ji will make everything fine. Tukoji’s wife meets Ahilya at the temple. She taunts Ahilya. She says everyone does the work, but not everyone gets the praise. She says you can see me, I do all the work of a bahu, but the household work isn’t give any importance.
Ahilya says I m giving household responsibility, I will not deny it, I will also help you and share the load, even if I have to handle the political matters, don’t get upset with me, I m already scared if I can fulfill Malhar’s expectations or not, if my loved ones get upset with you…Rakma says I m not upset with you, not everyone gets a good fate like you, we both are from ordinary families, you came here and got the queen tag, you got educated, rules changed for you, you got the throne for ten days, but I… Tukoji comes. Rukma says my life will pass like an ordinary bahu’s life, just kitchen and house duties, that’s it. Ahilya sees Tukoji. She says I will send the prasad plate to Gangoba. She leaves with the prasad.
Tukoji asks Rukma not to compare herself with Ahilya, she can’t take her place, like he can’t take Khanderao’s place. She argues with him. She asks what’s the use of being so sincere, when you get nothing. He says its my duty, I will do it, you won’t talk to Ahilya like this, she respects me and you a lot, she is the future queen. He goes. She gets angry. Ahilya imagines young Khanderao. She talks to him.
She says its all because of you, you aren’t here, I just want to stay as your queen, I don’t want to do anything. He says I will go for vanbhojan with my friends. She asks what will people say. He says people will know me as your husband. She talks to him. Renu and Sarja come there and laugh seeing Ahilya talking to herself. They joke and tease her about Khanderao. Ahilya smiles. She says I have started feeling Khanderao with me. Sarja says you will have much to do in the next ten days. Renu asks Ahilya to believe herself, she is a mine of qualities. Ahilya smiles. Renu says you will get much name. Harku comes. She asks Ahilya to come, Malhar is leaving for Pune. Gautama and the queens bid bye to Malhar. He asks Ahilya to handle everything. He leaves. Harku says you have to prove Malhar right and fulfill his expectations. Ahilya goes to the temple and prays that she keeps Malhar’s faith. Gautama blesses her. Ahilya goes to the darbar. Everyone stands when she comes. Ahilya greets the throne. She says I won’t sit on this royal throne. Everyone looks at her.
