Instead of exhaust holes you could have used a small slot between two inserts..and provide Airvent between..and connect slot to atmosphere with one or two drill hole enough.. Exhaust holes reduces space for cooling holes..my personal view..
I am still a student and love plastic mold design. Your video is really interesting. Can you share me some advanced materials about plastic mold design?

very good. for the product I believe that the cooling system is low. what is the cycle time?
Because this is a project 3 years ago. I can't remember the molding cycle time.
I do agree that cooling would be better,
But design is very gud
It's 48+ sec am sure..my mould itself was 58 with hydraulic cylinder..as your is finger cam so..it's way to easy to save 10-12 seconds
