I agree Landon with your observations about the beating and banging. This was at one time a clean racing series. I used to go to Charlotte watching the Legends race on a regular basis. I wouldn't go again with the racing this rough. If this is what is allowed now I'll save my money. Rubbing is racing; beating and banging is a demolition derby. Seems like lots of motorsports has eroded to this level. See ya in Hickory!

Dude that’s how the shootout has become. I was racing down there for the legends million. It’s a shitshow with big money and a lot of spoiled kids who don’t have to pay for their shit when they wreck it. I went to the million with one car and a back up motor. We obviously didn’t make it but it’s crazy the amount of money people spend on legends cars now.
Good run keep at it. Also just realized how special that chassis is that your driving. Its an older 2 bar chassis. A bit lighter and some say better build quality.
Great video! I agree with you, these cars look really fun but I'm glad you said something to the knucklehead running you over for 16th place. That's not how you race, at all, especially for 16th position smh. They have to learn somewhere!
What a very cool idea to make a short track out of this big Charlotte Motor Speedway. I think a lot of the big Nascar tracks are doing this now such as Charlotte obviously & Indianapolis,Daytona, in which Daytona has been doing for many years with the 24hrs race Etc. I can’t think of anymore big tracks that have a road course as well off the top of my head right now …
I was glad ya didnt let the kid playing bumper tag off. That should be a learning moment for the 7ny driver. Looks like ya had fun and ran decent even tho the front end wasnt right. Back to the 'big cars' !!

Legends drive the same way up at my local track seekonk speedway every week. Junking cars and driving like animals. They seem like a blast to drive though! Looks like you had some good speed going for ya. And I agree your first Q run was definitely better then your second

Of course, my perspective is that these younger drivers have spent far to much time in the virtual world. Such as iracing, call of duty, and others. They cannot real world consequences from their actions.
Moreover, there is no shortcut or easy way to gain real world experience. Other than in the real world. Of actually dealing with real people in real time...

This might be a topic you’ve covered in another video I missed or haven’t watched yet, but I’d love to learn more about your experience in the truck series and maybe why you haven’t gotten more cracks at it. It seems like every time you hopped in the truck you were competitive, especially considering the lack of seat time in those things you’ve had. You got your personal best finish and then never got in the truck again? Doesn’t seem right to me. Maybe a video idea or a Q&A kinda thing idk, either way loving the content and pulling for you!
I could do it, but the only answer is I’m broke lol. I was very fortunate to get the truck series opportunities I did get without money. Now it’s harder than ever and you have to have someone paying for you to be there or you simply won’t be racing

Loved the video, always do. I've always had an issue with the point that you were making. A lot of these kids can drive but very few know how to race. I know you understand the difference in the two. It's why I don't agree with 12/13 year Olds running LMSC. It's why I don't believe an 18/19 has any business near an Xfinity/Cup car. You still need to learn etiquette, the importance of give/take, why you shouldn't plow over someone for 15th. All this comes with experience. Sorry if that doesn't make sense but it sounded right in my head lol.
Legends cars are the stepping stones to bigger bodied cars. Cool to get opportunity but N LMS is your gig LH. We need more TRAVIS MOONHEAD BROWN. Guy is a legend with a xxxxxxxxxl hat
Love your videos man! It’s so cool to watch the in-car and see your emotions right after a race. Not sure if anyone else does what you do but that leads me to a serious question. On a lot of your videos we see lots of racing and I’ve been wondering if Floracing or anyone else had any issues that you do this. Like copyrights and all that. We watch your in-car and see a lot of laps from the stands, which I don’t know if you have someone up there or if it’s the actual broadcast. Either way, I love it but hope they don’t have any “legal” concerns for what you do.
I use mostly my video. I use some Flo overlays and i show their broadcast every once and a while, but it always has their water mark on the bottom right! So no issues!

I ran a Legend car some back in the mid 1990s, and it was the same way then. People driving way over their head and beating your car up. Legend cars are fragile, especially the front suspension and steering components, and I got tired of it and sold my car and helped my friends Micky and Scott Lawson with theirs. I always thought they were a good learning car because they were so light on the rear and would spin the tires off the turns so easily making you have good throttle control, you basically steered them off the corners with the throttle.
Interesting what kind of speed and motor is in those things?
Problem with legends is that you got kids who have run karts for 8 years and they are taught that they need to run over people to pass them….fast forward to them getting out into legend cars…same mindset because the way they’ve raced since they started is to run over people to push them up and out of the racing line to make a pass….I blame karting lol

It’s a lot of the same stuff honestly. People going balls to the walls for nothing when they have nothing to win, I’ve learned that quite a bit this year at my local track (New London-Waterford Speedbowl) when people from the back who start there that are fast try to make things stick within a lap or two and it causes chaos. They are fun to drive but man some people don’t think about the money involved in it.
Looked like you had a fast car. Standard mid pack wreck at the start. Then Just got stuck in traffic. Running people over like that for 15th is total bs. I would have rammed him back too! 😂

Go build a 4 cly and drive in the U-Car series. Half the money and no silliness.
Run in the Pro Class next time...not as many cars but a lot more respect from what I experienced.

Kart racing has gotten bad about that. It also doesn't help a lot of tracks only have one groove thru the turns.
