Lets sail our new ship over to the enemy area and attack one of their islands. There are bunkers and a kraken to deal with!

i dont play stormworks but i play milsim games, i suggest you to change the front autocannon to an actual cannon, like a tank , as you have AA (anti-air) machineguns in the back of the ship, so with bigger caliber you can be more effective to ground attacks or warship battles.
Seconding, the front turret should be an autoloading cannon. With the right ammo feeds, it could even do stuff like the actual 5 inch dual purpose guns a lot of ships have where it can shoot airburst HE for air targets, and APHE for engaging harder targets.
Stormworks doesn't simulate penetration like milsims so the best weapons are fast firing HE
@@milkman1981 Even for when you're trying to punch through a bunker? I'd think the AP would go through multiple layers better.
@JessicaKStark that's a rare situation, I didn't even know they added bunkers but usually a single HE round of most calibers will take out the usually vehicles you have to face
In stormworks damage works weird so a rotary does a ton of damage and is very op and for a cannon you might need a stabilizer, autoloader etc. With this its just spray and pray
You should make a tank and extend your boat a bit so the tank could fit on it. Or you could make an amphibous assault vehicle to attack enemy positions close to your base

I haven't played stormworks in a while but the last time I did I would just go to a base I didn't want to buy and I'd just steal their fuel. Idk if it still works though
you can add 1x1 microcontrollers as E.R.A in the flat edges of your boat for extra protection if you forgot,anyways,great video!
Is there feature in campaign mode that one you capture enemy base all the enemy weaponry will be your ally?

I just got search and destroy DLC.

Can you adjust the dials so that they're not continuously spinning. For example you could set the fuel dial to max of 12,000 or percentage and you can look at it without hovering over it. It'll be easier to read for you and us to read.
Tbh it is indeed smarter to add the engine temp to the bridge dial. But will you add an alarm system? It could automatically close all doors, turn the engines on, activate weapons and disable nav and decklights so the ship is harder to see (interior lights can stay as they are)
Frantic on your next bigger ship if you ever do I think you should add a small lifeboat that somehow moves so getting home without fuel is more easy or even when your sinking
why would you make rotary gun on the bottom floor, instead of putting it on look controls ( look x, look y nodes) on de capitan helm
Take the enemy base for 5k diesel fuel then do the mission and return to hospital with diesel fuel pump near.
Fight the kraken in the next episode with that boat of yours and without going home for supplies!!
