Wow over dramatic much? This scene with the music and such is way over doing it. A manipulative woman fights over a dude who can't make up his mind on which lying chick he would want to get stuck with most.
The women with the child never lied. His fiancee is the one doing all the crazy things.

She was definitely sure Lin Qiao is not the father and she's not Yan Lang's mother too, but didn't want Yan Lang to know that he's an orphan....Yan Song was a very private person and very truthful. The one telling all the lies is Su Qi who was insecure of Lin Qiao's love for her and she's right. Lin Qiao was no longer in love with her. But proposed to her because of parental pressure and for business connections. This is his funny way of trying to justify himself for breaking up with her if it comes to that. The funny thing is that Su Qi was the one who gave him that opportunity to break off the engagement because she was caught in her own manupilations.
