My Gosh what you’re bringing to the internet is a miracle in itself. A truly beautiful thing. Thank you so much for sharing with us this amazing soul that you are and for guiding and shaping part of our futures in such a positive way. You’re fantastic I am very grateful to have your friendship (RUclips to subscriber friendship). I hear myself in so many of your words and thoughts, thank you so much again my world is better for having you in it
Could you please please make a video regarding how to overcome fear of drawing or painting, meaning fear of failure in art? I feel that it is an especially prominent and important topic for artists and I as someone who wants to be an artist have been struggling with that recently. I would love to hear your views and maybe some advice on how to move past it.
I think this is what Caro is talking about in this video - taking time and not feeling fear or failure. The more time we take for ourselves in ‘rest’ the stronger we become. Why do you feel fear? What do you view as failure? Are you concerned about others judging you? Take the time for yourself like Caro has suggested. She is a wise woman spreading really good advice.
Thank you sharing, Caro!! :D My husband and I used to sleep at very different timings too but we realised that we can't fully fall asleep without each other's presence. So recently we talked about it and came to a conclusion to rest together every night. As both of us had upside schedule when we were younger, we want to tune our body clocks back to its natural state. We used to sleep at 3am and wake up at 11am/12pm sorta thing, and that lasted for a good almost 15 years of our lives. Super hard habit to break but we are working on it! And I just want to say you and Ivo are lovely! Take care beautiful!!
I do a lot of the same things that you do before going to bed. Oils & massage is my main thing. Sometimes I reaf, but mostly I write something that's coming through my mind. I don't use any citrus oil on my skin when it's daylight, because they're photo toxic. So when it's daylight I try to protect my skin from UV rays. I also air out my bedroom before going to bed as well as waking up
I’m such a night wolf I see a nighttime routine and I’m like howww? At night I am full of energy and my mind is more creative. I don’t ever feel like I slow down until 3 am .
Love this video, I agree a night time routine is so important. I wanted to share an infusion I drink at night. Hibiscus flower, lavender and sometimes a little chamomile. That with a hot bath or shower I sleep like a dream. Oh also I love to knit before bed. I loved this video.
That was such a beautiful reflection about vanity and loving our physical, human bodies. Thank you for such an enchanting video. I always come to binge your videos in periods of rest in my life. They really help me slow down and re-align myself to my truest desires. You are such pure light Caro, thank you for sharing your wisdom with us. 💛
Love your advice and philosophy. I have just come to that conclusion myself and I am at least 30 years older than you. This constant pressure, even if it is a silent pressure, to do more, to have more, that we are not enough has caused many of us to crash, to be deeply unhappy. I do believe that as scary as this current pandemic is, it gives us pause to think about what we really want in life. Thanks you Caro, so wise 🙏🏽💕🌟
I really resonated with appreciating what we have with our bodies, it’s calming that you also pointed it out too, about looking at yourself and acknowledging and feeling grateful for the bodies we have . As a child when I used to see this man who had no legs in my small hometown in México, and see how hard he had to struggle to get around , I always felt bad for him, but it also made me thankful for the body parts that I still had, I would look at my body in detail and thanked it for still being a part of me, and providing me the ease to run and draw and do, the things that I know others sometimes don’t get to do. And I lost that view along the way as I got older because of life, but thanks to Finding your channel now 2 years later , I found my way back to myself again and welcoming myself now in my 20s. ❤️ ASI que gracias un millón por tus videos y sabiduría !!!!
This video is just what i needed today! in such stressful times it's just best to focus on ourselves and the little things that make us happy! Thank you, Caro!
Such a beautiful attic. And yes everyone has the right to look after ourselves. Being thankful is a beautiful thing. I'm not a Qualified doctor but some people avoid a shower just before bed to avoid seizure/ heart attack, the same thing with drinking something before bed.
We are literally reading the same books. I finished “Braiding Sweetgrass” a couple of months ago and it really shifted and realigned the way I want to continue to live my life. Thank you for sharing your bedtime routine! As someone that is working two jobs having a routine for myself at the end of the day is a game changer.
I loooooooove this book!! It completely transformed my view of the "right" place for humans and human interaction with nature. I think it should have won a pulitzer. It's amazing
Hi Caro. I just want to say thank you for sharing... sometimes i feel like i need a little push to get into my routines and when i feel unmotivated i watch your videos. thanks woman. love ya !
Love it ! My night time routine is a cup of herbal tea , and I love to do meditation drawing with some quiet soft music . It helps me release my energy and gets me in my dream state . Then I write in my journal my random thoughts of the day. I look forward to your videos . Love your positive vibe and art . Many blessings 🌻
Caro! Small world! I made calligraphy goods for a photoshoot at the Funky Lofts some time last year! I was unable to make the shoot in person but it's nice to have this little look around from your video here. Thanks for sharing your night time wind down with us (:
I needed this today, as I much, thank you and tons of love to you. I've just purchased the audio book of Sweet Grass, can't wait to have the time to listen x
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful spirit 🙌💗🙌 this is just what I needed. At the moment I have no hair my scalp is sore due to illness but my relationship with my scalp remains respectful and grateful and loving 🙌💗🙌
Dreaming 💙 is one of my favorite activities. I used to really lean on it so much, esp when I was going through difficult times, bcs the dream world was completely opposite, cosmic. I like to have an altar near my bed, a white candle sometimes and different herbs there. The other day I picked some wild black sage and it was really fragrant 🍃 This video was so chill! Thank you ☁️🦋 low key have been slacking & vibes have been funky. Your energy in this video was a literal gift & made me feel so centered 🙏🏼 The other day before bed I was reading about Nephthys & Serket & I think I’m going to incorporate more reading relating to subjects like this, so as to be more open to signs while I’m in the astral 🌌🪐
Lovely Caro, what a beautiful and simple video! So calm as I like! This is inspiring to see how you take care of your body. This is exactly what every woman deserves!🙏❤️💕✨
Thank you for sharing your night time routine and your thoughts! It's really helpful and it made me aware that how taking care of oneself is so important and to keep phone away before sleeping which I'm not doing. I shall try to incorporate in my life the beautiful message that you have given through your video ! Grateful !
You speak with such ease and peace. I wish I could be like right now but alas in do time I guess. I'm struggling to find myself as a person but in my art as well.
thank you for this video, Caro. it was very soothing to watch and gave lots of food for thought. i love the idea of moisturising and giving yourself a rub before bedtime. some simple things that i enjoy and should do more is opening the window for 5-10 minutes before i go to bed and stretching a little (i tend to get really tense during the day).
i really resonate with this video. i have recently been adhering to a routine in the evenings in order to make self care a regular practice. it helps me conceptualize time, which can often feel like an abyss. i feel like i can actually plan for growth now. thank you for sharing 💓
Thank you so much for opening up your world to us. I’m having trouble falling asleep tonight and this video is inspiring me to create a better routine. Love your thoughts on showering at night and everything you said about the entangled life. Be blessed 🙏🏼

The eye skin is very thin & I learned through ayurveda not to use coconut oil or olive oil because it has a little peeling effect. I use jojoba, its a wax & it seems to support the skin around my eyes well.
