I watched the movie recently, and before that I never realized what a good AMV this is. The transitions are flawless, it really captures (minus the humor) the spirit of the movie, and the video and sound work together famously.
I just started watching Gintama, and was so surprise to see such a serious side of Gintoki. He looked so sad it makes me want to cry. BUT The action scenes are so badass!!!!

hehehe Gin-san could always be a buffoon and take everything lightly... but when it comes to protecting the ones she loves, she becomes the most powerful character in his own history!
What I love about this series is the main character. Sakata Gintoki has no powers. No special attacks. No flashy moves. He takes on enemies like aliens that are obviously stronger than humans with nothing but a wooden sword. Hes done a lot of damage with that sword. And the number of times its broken can be counted on one hand. This show proves that you don't need flashy things to be a badass in a fight. All you need is a good weapon and the skills to use it properly.

What I love about this series is the main character. Sakata Gintoki has no powers. No special attacks. No flashy moves. He takes on enemies like aliens that are obviously stronger than humans with nothing but a wooden sword. Hes done a lot of damage with that sword. And the number of times its broken can be counted on one hand.
This show proves that you don't need flashy things to be a badass in a fight. All you need is a good weapon and the skills to use it properly.
