    Neoliberal nonsense. There is no such thing like competitiveness of countries. Every country with own currency is always competitive. Skills? why should the gov provide it?! Maybe the companies should train there own people for their special needs.

      Competitiveness of countries matters in areas that have virtually no border restrictions between countries, such as the EU. This is a UK video from before Brexit after all.
