In the spring of 2023, Patrik embarked on a three-week trek to reach Mount Everest Base Camp and the summit of Kala Patthar. Accompanied by his Zoom Audio Recorder, he documented the sounds of nature and the people of the Khumbu Region, intertwining these field recordings with new musical compositions. The result is an audio tapestry that serves as a love letter to Nepal and its people, capturing the essence of the journey and the environment.
The first chapter of this project is called 'Arrival'. Patrik arrives in Katmandu, the capital of Nepal and flies to Lukla to start the trek.
