This video reminds me that, somewhere in this world, there still have girls be loved dearly. I tear dropping cuz I never felt any of my family members gave me a warm cuddle or a hug with happiness. Instead, when I saw my handful of pictures shot decades ago, the little girl in those pictures looked pathetic.
Tawan is a developed country yet not a female-friendly society. I remember I was so thrilled to see my cousins visit my grand parent's house. I wanted them to stay because I know those BOYS were given massive love by every family member of mine. Their arrival bought me better food and better treatments.
Now, I'm in my early thirty, and I thought modern Taiwan society has changed. But, unfortunately, I still see substantial Taiwanese girls suffering from gender inequality.
