Ana says that Biden gave Harris the impossible task of fixing immigration. Whether that task is considered possible or not, it still needs to be fixed. Harris didn't have to attempt to fix immigration alone, she could have appointed a group of experts to assist her.

This piece is a classic example of how ineffective Biden is as a leader. At this time, there isn't a single Democrat that can be seen as a capable candidate for an upcoming presidential election. As President and the leader of the Democratic party, it is Biden's responsibility to place the vice president in the best possible position to take the presidency, whether through an upcoming election or his untimely death. Biden has done NOTHING to secure the presidency in Democrat hands. It starts with the Vice President successfully building momentum with accomplishments, not being saddled with impossible tasks.

The job of the Vice President is to support the President's policies. It is the President that directs the role of the Vice President. Biden is responsible for the Vice President's actions. That poor showing at that interview, seems to me Harris struggling to avoid throwing the President under the bus. Biden sent her to Guatemala, and if he wanted her to go to the border, she would have.

I've never been a fan of the VP, I'm definitely not now after seeing her fail so bad. Especially that she was given the responsibility of Border Security and didn't do anything expect yell at asylum seekers telling them not to come, that is not a viable solution. She seems so unemotional and doesn't acknowledge the issues she is tasked to solve, totally dismissive of her own constituents and the struggles of the American people.

Since a lot of people apparently do not know, the function of the VP is to be available to stand in for the President when needed, to preside over the Senate, and really nothing more. It is a nothing position. A VP is like the spare tire in your car. There if needed.

I absolutely totally agree with you. However, as a black person and as a woman, I've been pretty much indoctrinated to believe that I have to do twice as much to have half as much (as a black woman let's just say it's 4 times as much), so I know I always have to bring my A game to be seen as even "marginally" relevant. How didn't she get that same memo!

I was never for Kamala in the first place. I didn't want her for VP. The kinds of answers she has given at times are ridiculous. I didn't like her response about going to the border saying that she hadn't gone to Europe either. Ridiculous! We don't have a migrant problem with Europe. Also I won't forget her cackling inappropriately when she was in Poland to meet with leaders there. Her cackling is often inappropriate. I don't ever want her for president.
