I don't think there's a way to not lose motivation. You can just try to regain it. I suggest watching GLMMs of other people. When I see GLMMs with a lot of views that really motivates me✨
I find coming up with original plots so difficult sometimes. It's hard to stray from stereotypes (school set romances, bad boy clichés etc.) as that's all we really see in this community for the most part. It's actually quite depressing.
I have a couple of suggestions on ways you can come up with original stories. 1. Use a random plot generator. These are good for getting your brain flowing because of how ridiculous the ideas are. All you have to do is rework them and expand on them so they make sense. Here is a link to the one I use:www.plot-generator.org.uk/ 2.Stay away from clichés or stereotypes. It may be easier to copy and paste a commonly used characters, but trust me you won't love them as much as a character you though of completely on your own. If you can't think of any character ideas look up Negative and positive traits and pick a couple of those or use a random character generator. Music always makes my mind run wild with ideas and helps the story have the feel. It also helps me work. 4:Use dreams as a based for an idea. They can often be very creative and just need to be reworked to make sense. Here are some bases for story ideas, if you would like though. Write a story from another perspective. Write a story in a different time Write a story in a different world Write a story as if a important historical events didn't happen (Example. If Rome had never existed.) Pull inspiration from real life. (I'm writing a script currently based on a bird I found.)

For the Conflict part, I was taught that there are 6 main types of conflict. I’ll make a list of them right here and maybe they can help inspire people! 1. Character vs Self (internal conflict usually) 2. Character vs Character 3. Character vs Nature 4. Character vs Supernatural 5. Character vs Technology 6. Character vs Society If you look up something along the lines of “six different types of conflict” or “six main types of conflict” there are lots of helpful articles about it.
You should do a mix of mystery and romance Maybe two detectives have been friends and went through everything together, but one of them starts to have feelings. The character makes it kind of obvious but the one the ‘main’ character is crushing on doesn’t feel the same way, then they regret it years later and they want the ‘main’ character back so they can date but they are already married. *I came up with this from the top of my head lol*

character development is hard to impliment in a lot of these basic love stories around 10 minutes long, with almost no key plot elements, so i see why it isn’t included. but yeah, people need to start writing it in more/better

Mhhh, I don't know ... I'd still consider the video original - as long as the idea has never been done before. And as for scripts, I normally don't write the emotions in the script. I tend to completely change the meaning of lines and writing the expressions would just make me less creative and motivated ... but you can do whatever you like - it's your script after all!✨

i honestly get story ideas from my dreams, since i have alot of weird but actually pretty fun ones- i have a few if you want any :D witch balloon - a family of witches and wizards fly around in a hot air balloon and help everyone in need with their witchcraft. the balloon is a sort of life source for them so they have to hide it at all cost. staircased - a school known for it's infinite floors have a secret floor where it's full of things that can resolve and make any of your desires come true. train of fantasy - two best friends who ran away from home accidentally stumbled upon the sacred train of fantasy. each stop of the train resulting into random scenarios they must go through until they reach their own universe. eventually they reached their own universe and went back to their homes safely after weeks of being lost. nobody really believed the stories they told though. off to the sunrise - an unbelievably unlucky girl which was a big fan of fictional characters eventually awoken to alot of her favorite characters in the world with her. after looking in the comics and episode of the animes she found out that they dissapeared in every parts and panels! she has to get them back, by trying to get them ride off to the sunrise with her. ( haha weeb ) i think that's all i remember right now ;' have fun

Just an idea; you can make everyone a villain and a hero at the same time. It gives more to think about and adds depth to the story. Maybe one side wants an organised system and the other wants freedom. Their goals conflict but aren’t necessarily good or bad

The problem with making original stories is, soon enough your video will get 10 views, and if you’re lucky, some big gachatuber will see it, copy it, and when you say it was actually your idea, they start going off about how “depressed” they are. And the fan base is suddenly defending them all the way even though when you go to YOUR channel you uploaded your video 2 weeks ago.

Character development isn't used enough in a lot of the stories I see. Thank you for bringing it up

if u have the same title but still want it to stand out, use a synonym (ex: Dreamcatcher -> Dream Captor)

The problem with making original stories is, soon enough your video will get 10 views, and if you’re lucky, some big gachatuber will see it, copy it, and when you say it was actually your idea, they start going off about how “depressed” they are. And the fan base is suddenly defending them all the way even though when you go to YOUR channel you uploaded your video 2 weeks ago.
