It's so refreshing to see a couple that waited till they got married. It tends to be so discouraging coming across believers who don't abstain and make you feel like your decision to abstain is useless/worthless. So S/O to y'all man. 💛
I love how she was honest about how difficult it is to abstain, she is transparent about the challenges but also the overall benefits are far greater than the challenges
I agree. As a 20 something whose been waiting all her life it can be discouraging to meet or hear christian be so nonchalant about purity. To me it means so much, except just waiting for marriage (which always has the possibility of not happening), it also means I am willing to sacrifice parts of my flesh I know would be enjoyable outside the container of marriage but wouldn't be for my edification. I love love, but there is something so moving for me personally when I see a couple do love God's way or date within the parameters that I consider as godly. It is a great and gentle reminder to hold on still on days I might forget or be discouraged.
Please do not listen to them, be very intentional and keep pursuing purity as if ur life depends on it because it does❤
