  • Glad to be back creating lessons for you guys! Took a bit of a break for the holidays but I am absolutely back and ready for action! To begin the New Years I decided to show you guys a pretty cool 3 1 2 concept sweeping technique that a ton of fusion guys just love to employ! I certainly love this technique since it provides quite a bit of movement with a certain effortless feel to it.
    The lick is written in the key of g major and it flows seamlessly from the 2nd fret of the guitar to the 15th fret. The trick behind the lick (and the movement) is the right hand. Figure out the right hand pattern and you'll be golden in no time! hope you guys dig the lick!

    I found this old gem of a video. I'm glad too, very different I'm used to the 2 1 2 concept but this is a little different edge to it.. very awesome brother Juan! Will you ever be diving deep into your economy/sweep picking techniques that you use in the future??

      I usually use a Dunlop Jazz 3, although I am currently working on a jazz 3 based custom pick. I'll let you know once it's out!

    Does your book have tabulatures?

      @juanantoniomusic  5 лет назад +1

      It doesn't because it's mainly scale diagrams. It's not really needed though. Not a ton of notation in it (only for some minor theory explanations). Thanks for commenting !!
