The car has come a long way, for sure! I like watching the progress and products you use to achieve the look. Thanks for posting them down in the comment!
Those sunroofs are cursed lol. I got an 88 Si when I turned 18. First chick I took on a date in it, it was raining. Had to hit the brakes quick for a light and it dumped water all over both of us. Since then, I always fix the sunroof first thing. On my EK, EG, Prelude, any Honda with one.
Seth, Your videos have been great in helping me restore my white 1990 Si. Earlier you showed or talked about the cargo cover repair hinge. Do you have a link or site I can go to for purchase? Thanks Christopher in middle Georgia
Sorry, like I mentioned below, I was pressed for time to get things done this weekend so I had to sacrifice a few bits that I assumed people wouldn’t be too interested in.
Sorry! I was pressed for time and needed to get as much done as I could this weekend. I did all this this weekend and edited the video so it was a sacrifice I had to make. I had intended to show how I did the cargo cover. I’ll try to work it in the next video.
Seth, is the steering wheel out of a different car:? It looks completely different than my 88. My horn sits more flush with the circumference of the wheel while that one appears to be more sunk in.
I was waiting for this all weekend! Lol. Nice progress! I know you have the exhaust left after this. Anything else, or is this thing completely done then?
AC charge, alignment, sand and buff the roof and quarter panels, stereo, headlights and taillights bulbs, exhaust like you mentioned, I’ll do fuel pump off camera, and I’ll probably do some smaller cleanup finishing work. I’m sure there will be more that I can’t think of.
It's a Honda. Restoring an Asian go-kart isn't much of a challenge, seriously. Everything is smaller, jobs are shorter, lighter, and easier to assemble. Glad you found a hobby you enjoy, though.
OEM stereo's in 80's and 90's cars were absolutely garbage in terms of sound quality. It's much more period correct to have a aftermarket stereo from that era because that's what people did back then..
Hi Seth, where did you get this plastic hinge from for the parcel shelf? I am looking for something like that but here in australia I can't find anything. Thanks in advance....btw love your CRX ;)
The finish line is in sight! Nice work!
The build is so clean, but I think the most under rated part of your videos is the editing cuts and music combo, absolute heater!
I appreciate that!
This channel has such a good vibe.
I appreciate it!
Your attention to detail is spot on seth, keep up the good work!
Thanks!
You got that car looking good man! Impressive work you do.

Thanks for watching!
Your attention to detail is brilliant to watch!
Fantastic job on the speaker cover. And the sunroof too. Gorgeous car(s) That interior is bloody lovely.
Another inspirational video mate. The fact that you do all of that stuff on your own (thinking about that sunroof assembly!) is phenomenal!
That functional sunroof is 👌 usually when you find em they dont work at all and havent for years
Almost there!!! Getting real excited for the final product!!!
You and me both!
Another great Sunday! You’re making me want a CRX now.. LOL
You should!
Absolutely impressive work as always. Seriously going to be one hell of car once it's done. 🙌🏽
Hope so!
Can't recall the last time I saw a CRX roof close without the shudder!
Just needs some lube!
Thanks for these videos !!! My speaker covers turned out amazing!!!
genius idea for the speaker material!!
Great work Seth.
Sick Job on the Sun Roof 🫡

Omg 🤙dude great job man Absolutely beautiful

Looking good Seth, I was hoping you had found some fabric paint for the speaker covers material . Trying to keep mine OEM , as best I can.
You can use SEM color coat paint for the fabric. I did on my other CRX.
Yes!!
Quality as aways
Sooo Booom dope vid as always brother 💪🏽
Appreciate it!!
Good job
what is your pink cleaning product ?
It’s actually Purple Power degreaser.
@@crxseth thanks
Good JOB.....
Thank you so much 😀
Seth, love the work man, do you have a link for the hinge repair you did on the rear trunk cover. Keep saving the crxs man.
You can send me aDM on Instagram to purchase. I have them on EBay as well but they are a few dollars more expensive.
Seth, Your videos have been great in helping me restore my white 1990 Si. Earlier you showed or talked about the cargo cover repair hinge. Do you have a link or site I can go to for purchase? Thanks Christopher in middle Georgia
I sell them directly. You can DM me on Instagram and buy it. They are one ebay, but are more expensive.
Cargo box installation? cover? divider? seats?
Sorry, like I mentioned below, I was pressed for time to get things done this weekend so I had to sacrifice a few bits that I assumed people wouldn’t be too interested in.
Cleaning solution?
I've looked everywhere on your channel.. did you ever make a video about restoring your cargo area folding cover?
Exactly what i was looking for He skipped showing us the seats and everything else sadly 😞
Sorry! I was pressed for time and needed to get as much done as I could this weekend. I did all this this weekend and edited the video so it was a sacrifice I had to make. I had intended to show how I did the cargo cover. I’ll try to work it in the next video.
Should I make a 2-5 minute video just showing this repair?
@@crxseth no worries, I get it 😅Absolutely! If you can include the cargo container with it!
@@crxseth Yes please
That sunroof looks mint! Is that an aerial blank on the pillar, where did you get that?
What are you asking about? I don’t know what you mean by an aerial blank?
Sorry the part at 13:48, little plastic bit on the a pillar
@@CraigFyfe Ahh. The antenna cover.

@@crxseth we call an antenna and aerial in the UK 😂 thank you!
@@CraigFyfe Now it makes sense!
Seth, is the steering wheel out of a different car:? It looks completely different than my 88. My horn sits more flush with the circumference of the wheel while that one appears to be more sunk in.
Yes. This is a European spec steering wheel.
where did you purchase the seats from ? And did you get them reupholstered ?
I don’t recall but it was from a seller in Poland, I believe.
Which grease is recommended for the sunroof. Honda shinetsu or Honda urea grease?
You can use a white lithium grease or shin Etsu. They will both do the trick.
@@crxseth thank you Seth
i sold my oem floor mats for $500 3 years ago. they were mint. now i wish i didnt lol
$500 is $500.
I was waiting for this all weekend! Lol.

Hey,do you know where i can buy a fiberglass sunroof panel, shipped to portugal?
I actually bought mine from a guy in Portugal. He makes them there. Luciano Oliveira.
Saddly he doesnt make them anymore.doesnt even reply
@@rafael8298 Only other one I know of is in the UK from Sharpe Restorations.

Surely you have a buyer for this already?
I have many people expressing interest, but I’m not listing it or accepting deposits until it’s ready.
i can see the end of the tunnel
Was für ein Stoff ist das ?
Where is your country?
USA
Got to stop watching your videos before I blow £10k on a Crx 😂😂
Do it!

Look up “living hinge”. That’s what it is called.
Great work Seth.
