Wow, great video! This way I understood the game play much better then else where! Think I am going to try to build a iOS version of this games...... There are not man african games out there.... compared to the number of european and american games....
I'm a little confused by something. If it's not required that a player move their piece from the House of Happiness (square 26) on their next throw after landing there, then why on Earth did the computer player voluntarily land a piece on the House of Water several times when they didn't have to? What would be the point? The way I play Senet, once a piece lands on square 26, the player's next throw *must* be to move that same piece; otherwise, it's trivially easy to avoid the House of Water, and thus there's no element of risk there, which would be dull.
*2 years later* The game is called "Senet" which is suppose to be the oldest board game found *so far* which was played by the ancient Egyptians estimated over 5000 years ago.
Good to see I'm not the only one who plays Senet
TheRetiredtrucker Me and my father are building one, but we have just started

That stuttering winged scarab couldn't be more annoying than if the board was lit by a flickering neon light.
