for a fantasy series i would DEFINATELY recommend Percy Jackson and the Olympians. its just so good, its funnny, ur never really bored and its really useful to get out of slumps LOL.

I love the selection, it expressed your art work from The Reading Journal quite well especially with your exquisite taste in Fashion Design! I've read The Butcher & Blackbird...I too say it that way , I felt almost the same exact way except I was intrigued by how "flat" and "dry'" I would say the book was because it was in the end astonishing how they managed to play with my head the whole time. Honestly if you haven’t you should read the one of us is lying series, it’s about some students that have been accused of murder. It’s really interesting and I think you would like it 😊

I totally agree with the first book of a series not always being the best, however, have you read The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchison? It is the first book in a four-part series but is by far the best book. It is definitely a mature themes thriller but if you are starting to read more thrillers I recommend checking it out. It was the second book I read when I got back into reading, a five-star for me :)
