The plant you are touching is called Touch me not plant. It's scientific name is mimosa pudica. It's not carnivorous plant and it doesn't eat insects. The base of the stalk has water in it which when we touch gets absorbed into it's viens hence it closes up. After sometime water re enters and it opens up again. It's safe to play with it, they're everywhere in India ❤
