I hope you dont run standard bearing clearance on the mains, or you’ll end up with the same bearing problems that BS has had for years. Too little clearance and too little oil film to lubricate and dampen the crank. And I would use a Ati super dampner. Standard parts and clearance are good to around 500hp and after that you’ll need to start thinking racing engine specs.
hi, we are runing racespec clearings for 20w50, rods and crank have bigger clearings, we also use ross Harmonic Damper built for m104s. we are using race parts as you can se and we hope we are above 500whp. thanks for the comment :)
Will all standard parts on the om648 support 500hp or no? I’m coming from m57 deisel engines and just curious how I can build one of these things on a budget. What needs to be upgraded to handle 500hp in a drift car? Sorry I can’t find anything online

fabricate mountings yourself, takes some time but no problem :)
