The FRU office bearers and accountants have failed on their part in meeting agreements and making due payments; they have taken advantage of the Fijian politeness, loyalty and patriotism. A big salute to these courageous gentlemen who stood up on behalf of their comrades.

Time to break the old habit which I hear was a common trend for years, especially when underperforming Flying Fijians or national teams in general is a reflection of how pathetic FRU board has been by not paying the players in full regardless of their own club wages local (Drua) and overseas. They're not called Fakol Rugby Union for nothing, especially when Peter Lazy or whatever his name is isn't doing anything to address the issue which they're too slow to react to. Good on the players for calling them out, especially IF they're even somehow banned from Flying Fijians duties by FRU which is minor now that the cat is out of the bag on false payment promises like the players' welfare means nothing to them.
Good the Rugby House is exposed. All the while some of us were praying their heart out for fiji to bring home the glory in 2023 RWC. Fiji nearly beat England in the quarters but bcoz of the real internal problems the Boyz let go never mind the glory. It's good for the rugby loving people to have first hand news from the players themselves. It is a real problem nearly in every sports in fiji. This is bullshit. Fiji rugby is a brand. It markets itself so that its product, the players, could get recognition and be attractive to the professional clubs. It's only a stepping stone to you becoming a successful professional player. Adds more value to you. To say that they owe you a fortune is greed. The flying fijian jersey should be worn with pride. The pay may be delayed, but you all got paid. They saying that this has been happening in the past. But why are still then raising your hands to wear the jersey? If you think that Fiji rugby is not paying well, then stay with your club. Every time you perform in the white jersey, your values go up with your club. Be grateful. If they are, they will negotiate with FRU now and say, we’re not taking the offer unless you meet our demand. All they need to do now is read the contract, say I'm not happy with this, and I'm not going. Or, yes this is written in the contract, if they fail to meet this. I will take legal action, meawhile, ill go on tour because i am proud to represent my nation. At the end of the day, in the real professional world, it is what is written in the contract, not what someone said at the meeting or what someone was overheard saying during the gunu ti.
