The defense let the team down many times down the stretch so even though I like DQ, I don’t think it’s going to hurt too much to lose him.
Im glad he left.His defense gave up when the going got tough!
I believe people are missing what Jerry Jones meant when he said they are going "all in" and "not building for the future"...If you really listen to his words it sounded to me like he was referring to signing "our" current players to contracts...not going after external free agents!

It's gonna be internal. They aren't blindsided by this. No young upcoming DC is coming to a team with a HC on the last year of his deal
Joe whitt taught Al Harris in Green Bay Joe Witt is actually a McCarthy guy he was in Green Bay 2008 through 2018 with McCarthy he actually runs a 3-4 defense
And he left. The issue is McCarthy is a lame duck. If he stayed here he’s more than likely out of a job at the end of the year. Going to Washington buys him multiple years of employment. 😊

I can't be the only that noticed our defense got worse as the season progressed, right? Ever noticed Quinn had really bad tendencies and his overaggressiveness costing us in big games? Or how about Dan Quinn running a nickel coverage vs GB, when it was obvious GB were running the ball? We had a good run with him, but his carriage turned into a pumpkin.

LOL DQ had Just jags at DT, #11 too small to play the run at DE, No one left @ LBer, Gilmore on his last legs, Diggs out. However I don't blame the guy for leaving. No way he wants to be a DC with Mr Pick 6 cheerleader @ QB, its the duk who suks. DQ should have gotten a medal.
Too aggressive? He ran a prevent defense, in the final drives vs Miami and Detroit. 1 cost us the game and the other should have.
Aggressive is what he did in the last drive vs Seattle and it worked out.
It seems to me that he didn’t know the right times to be aggressive and not be aggressive.
@@williamcarr3976 Quinn went for the most cover zero in the rz in all of the nfl. He was literally gambling for most of the season, and while I do agree that in both Miami and Detroit he went prevent at the wrong time... that was 1 or 2 drives vs the rest of the game.
He basically just crossed his fingers and hoped the D-line (Micah) got to the QB. After that, his defense could be carved, especially as the season toll wore on the D-line.
@@Dougarony He had a whole BUNCH of DE's... he kept a small front when he knew the run was coming. He had no one left at LB? I'm sorry, don't you remember? Quinn loves his safeties turned LBer... he literally ignored the LB position for a couple of years and it came back to bite him big time. Overshown is a project, he's not suddenly your best LB even if healthy... so no man, Quinn screwed himself. If your scheme is man, sit Gilmore out and play next man up... because I doubt it could've been any worse. Bad decision after bad decision in a playoff game?
My question is Whitt the same players coach that DQ was?? As much as I liked him, I feel DQ created the problem of the players crashing when they got punched in the face and to me that is due to not getting punched in the face by your coach during practices, meetings, etc. He made them softer when it came down to it. I want a DC that is going to get in their face about penalties and stupid moves and punching back when punched!! I appreciate DQ for breathing life back into our defense, but I also feel the culture he created was softer because he was such a players coach and I really feel this team is desperate for a coach that is going to punch them in the face and really bring out their inner mad men! If that's Whitt then so be it, but if he is just another players coach, move on!
