During my 6 years of incarceration I had seen a number young men end up with the keys to the yard. I was in level 3 for 2 and half years. In that time 4 different guys held the riens. In my 3 1/2 years at calipat there were 8 different guys. When I left Calipat in 96 the guy with the keys was on the list. Just as all the others before him? They all ended up making a decision that was detrimental to the end of their tenures. All behind drugs of course.
The closest one to you is always the one that is gonna stab you because he’s the one that can get close to you and you don’t expect it, for instance he might be telling you that he has your back if they try to rush you but he is only trying to get you to drop your guard.
