@fruitsandrobots it’s such a genius way to help creator’s get their subcounts up. I’m sure Primal Status Elevated will mention it in his next livestream, as he’s always reminding us of how much of a benefit it is for podcasters to have each other on as guests 😊
Solid list of movies by The Rock, Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars A New Hope are my favourites too. So excited to watch the Smashing Machine, The Rock looks ready to steal the show. 😊
It’s nice to see the Dwayne Johnson finally be in something with actually meaning and artistic merit instead of same old corporate schlock he’s known for. I think the only films he’s in that I actually liked was Moana (2016) and his brief role in The Other Guys.
@markhatch9893 Never seen it since I don’t really like Micheal Bay movies except for maybe The Rock. I am glad that auteur film directors see potential in actors who are mostly associated with bad films and utilize them in something that’s more unique and creative. An example I can think of is Adam Sandler because I can’t stand his comedy films except for Happy Gilmore and Wedding Singer but the moment I first saw Punch-Drunk Love my opinion on him changed from hate to respect because he was willing to work with PTA and do something different from his mainstream work. Sadly the film was box office disappointment at the time and he sadly went back to his usually comedy routine until the success of Uncut Gens.
I know this is a promotion for the smashing machine, but do you have to mention it every 10 seconds then make some weird connection between SM and its a wonderful life, just talk about the films you enjoyed man.
The hierarchy of power in the Letterboxd universe is about to change
"You know the recession is bad when the rock is doing real movies"
Maybe he wants to stop being a joke and salvage his acting career?
Oh, he’s hiding his muscles and calling himself Dwayne, must be chasing that statue.
Plus the glasses
I love RUclips’s feature of collaborating with creators
Didn’t know this is possible. 😅

Pain and Gain was great too. The Rock can be a great actor if he tries.
