6:37 - Car specific stuff is so important to remember. So for this GT car turn T5a is critical but in a car with downforce (or a slow grippy car) T5 is more important because you can run flat from there.
fun fact/tip you can change ghostcar offset to be 0.5 or 0.25 seconds ahead so its not right ontop of you all the time.. and you can also make it solid instead of transparent so it feels like youre following a real car..
Thanks so much Suellio for share this little but a big secrets about lines, inputs and the importance of the tyres temp. This car and Toyring cars ( fwd) are my favorite cars to drive in iR. Both involve an exhaustive analysys of several variables an fine details.
Great content as always. And wow, that kid is really talented! Definitely a very prodigious prospect, I can tell that with the right work ethic he could probably go far in his racing career
Cool bar graph at beginning of vid. im a retired iracer who was in the 5% range around 3.5 irating and that was with a Logitech G27 clamped to an ikea table
Yeah we don't realize how good we are. We see a lot of noise talking about the high irating drivers and that makes us think there are lots of faster drivers than us
@@SuellioAlmeida I knew I was pretty good cause id win races occasionally and always be up in the top splits, but there were so many dudes who were like a second/lap faster than me. Of course, like I said I was just playing at a desk on a 24 inch monitor. The only fancy equipment I had was the fanatek clubsport pedals with the load cell or whatever they were called. Now it seems like everyone has super fancy rigs with giant monitors or triple monitors.
@@GridPosition1 I started racing radio controlled cars. The free time i had for iracing started going to that. Then when i tried to get back on iracing a couple years ago, my desktop computer that i used to use didnt seem to be able to handed. iracing anymore. I think the version of windows no was supported or something.
Im remember videos from you with PCup at Laguna and Monza where you said a) you dont wanna steer with your throttle as its dangerous. That it is a bis missconception to use power oversteer to gain more rotation and b) you wanna hit your peak braking pressure as fast as possible to not lose time under the process of braking and here you are telling him, in both situations, the opposite. Its confusing :D
I mean it depends on the car and the track grip I agree that it doesnt make any sense but if u want to go in the limit, u don't want to lock so its safer to practice good times and then if you can perfect times. Throttle rotation in iracing sucks but in this track is not necessary as u need more understeer for good acceleration
Of course! I've had students who started at 42 and now at 45 they're driving like they would never imagine is possible. It's all about smart, consistent and efficient work on your technique
I was hoping for some clarification, especially from somebody who is considered a professional. Your Telemetry shows what appears to be you running Auto blip in these cars. I am still pretty new to sim racing, and don't quite have the comfort of being able to compare manual clutch / blip, to auto blip with consistent times. So I guess my question is, are you using the Auto Blip / Auto Clutch assists? Are they actually slower by any noticeable margin? Thank you!
7:41 Maybe you have to say away from the kerb, so its easier to get a better exit. Just like you did in the turns 4 and 5 I believe(where you talked about if there is a kerb you want to touch it). I’m just saying. I’m not as fast as you but maybe it is smth you overlooked.
I wish i had iRacing, much more competent than GT7, and lobbies are much cleaner 90% of the time. I'm also a 13 y/o, and i wish to get into iRacing sometime. (Or also real life racing, works too 😂)
@@MMoura58 Don't worry, you are very young, you will have a lot of time and money in the future to get into iRacing and even real racing. Just don't give up, make smart decisions and chase your dreams, with hard work and dedication you will make it 😉🙌
ok but if I remember Suellio, youre against turning the car on throttle, im guessing because it encourages some bad habbits... so how do you tell when the trade off is worth it for performance outside of the delta going down?
Race cars don’t require driving licenses for the road. Only FIA Superlicenses (F1 licenses) require you to be 17/18, every other license lets you compete if you have the skill.

Keep an eye on this young man, he is a Champion in the making.
13 years old and 7K iR?! Gotta appreciate THAT amount of talent!
Just early childhood racing career + a lot of money. Almost everyone will be "talented"

with it transparent you can see your lines better in my opinion, but to each their own preference.

Amazing, Xuxuzinho. I hope Reed keeps up the hard work and has the focus to keep improving. Best of luck!

The only kid who don’t talk about how fast the Supra is 😂😂😂
I've only been racing a year so my inexperience told me his rear end of the car is to tight, were your car looked looser. Then he figured it out.

This car has Electronic Blip, so regardless of your settings, it will be there!
If you use autoblip in Iracing is going into effect only when you drive cars that need throttle blip.

he's never getting real extra rotation if you watch the yaw rate graph. it's more that you LOSE rotation if you go too gently on throttle
