- We hit the CRAY Button! Cleaned and Sealed all the ducts then ZONED the house into Main Floor with Daikin Fit and Modulating Furnace, Upper Floor with Concealed Ducted, Man Cave and Theatre Room with Ductless! Winning.
I love how excited you are about resolving issues for the customer and how awesome the installation went. Locally, I feel like I am asking the world of my contractor to go out of their way and install this kind of technology. I have a zoned Arzel system now and their is only one contractor that can service it, and even then it is only one of their techs that knows the system thoroughly. Your skill set should be appreciated by the customers you serve. Wish I lived close by!

Hello! Loving the designs you come up with for tricky situations. Just bought a house local to where you are and I’d love to pick your brain on what to do with our uh unique house. The previous owners had a furnace installed after the fact and have some funky situations. The multi-zone up into the attic seems like the best way to go.

Not a big fan of return filters i. Each room. Also that flex duct plastic has to be over that insulation since it acts like a vapor barrier.
What is the brace called that you’re using on the tops of the units to prevent accidental tipping?

I posted on an earlier video. How are these Daikins doing in comparison to what I've been told they do. Do they heat well in the negative temps or do they PUKE out after a few months and buzz like a dug up bumble bee nest? Thank you for any feedback!

I love this. It's exactly what I'd like to do on my 2nd floor to replace the current heat pump. Is the concealed ducted system a single zone? With a system like that using individual returns upstairs, what would you do for a hallway?
Robert Juric In this case the upstairs is a single zone but could be converted to four zones with the Daikin DZK zoning system. Hallways are usually customer preference they don’t typically need heat as the bedrooms bleed enough.

I have a question about the 4mxl low ambient heat unit, I live in the north east. What size heads should I use, I need 3 heads, 1 for a 400 sq ft room, 1 for a 200 sq ft room, and another 1 for a 600 sq ft room? Thanks in advance!

Really depends on the thermal properties of the rooms, but you 48k in heads to play with
I would ensure wifi controls. Helps with mixed mode issues for shoulder seasons
