Following on from the huge success of the first two Lush! Classical concerts the Ulster Orchestra put on their dancing shoes to team up with Lush! for the third consecutive year. This time going even bigger and even better. Maria Nayler was welcomed back to Belfast along with Lovely Laura and her saxophone!10,000 people returned to the SSE Arena for another complete sell out - every seat in the house being sold and the Ulster Orchestra pumping it out for 90 minutes to the absolute thrill of the Belfast crowd. The result was Lush!
Classic dance tracks are - classic, but when played by the orchestra they become classical! (And sound so very good!)
Once again well done to the Ulster Orchestra and Lush! See you in 2019!

pdrunk2 I didn’t. Unfortunately. I made the decision this year to just watch and enjoy it without being behind my phone. Then I seen the seats I got. They were awesome and view was unreal. So I’d decided I was going to make the video!
Then the ‘person’ in front of me decided that for the entire duration of the event they would get on like a human jack in the box on coke for the whole show. I personally saw very little of the show thanks to that tw@ but I can tell you this it sounded amazing!
If the jack in box happens to read this. Next time go standing you absolute glipe!

how long is the full show on for?
It runs for about 4.5 hours - the orchestra generally does about 1.5 hours, maybe towards 2 hours. A couple of warm up DJs are on the stage first.

The area of front of the stage is for standing tickets, the areas around the side are seated. It is held at an ice hockey arena. The ice is the standing area - the seats are the seats.
How could you possibly sit for that? Disrespectful to the music, disrespectful to the orchestra and just not possible if you love classic dance - this is for dancing!
It's belfast I doubt anyone was sitting during this..they woulda been standing on the seats and each other
