ooooh! so each of those expressions mean something! we were sooo lost when we saw the performance in Kumily! a bit scary even!
but, why this actor is not wearing full dress and makeup? no wig / hat? is it a rehearsal??

This is a small session for the audience just before the performance starts, where the artist tells us what the expressions mean. Then they go back and wear the complete costume and start the performance. This artist performed the role of a lady so he did not have to wear the big masks.
