You made it through your first winter storm as an FA! (This is your first, right?) That is an accomplishment! In the years ahead, when you're a senior mama and can hold vacation days over the holidays, you'll look back on this and tell this tale and how you survived it. 💪❤️
so true! excited for what’s to come in the future! my airline is hiring like crazy this year so I’m excited to see my seniority boost. thanks for watching xoxx
Watched this again. It's pure art in the midst of stress and frustration. The true reality of being flight crew. Good times and bad. The clip of the crew walking through an empty terminal is so haunting. Amazing Kendra.
I personally think that having airports open on Christmas Day (in countries where most people celebrate Christmas) is a bad idea (except for airports where there is many flights to countries where most people don’t celebrate Christmas like New York JFK or Frankfurt) so I really feel for you. I think it’s a waste of time for all the staff (with the exception of flight control tower staff and a few people who patrol the tarmac and terminals who are all needed in case of emergencies) as they have to be away from their families and friends and commit their time to a small amount of people who make the odd decision to fly on Christmas Day. Christmas Day is too big of a holiday to be busy with work (unless it’s emergency work like the hospital) even for non religious people of Christian dissent. It’s when families and friends get together, open presents, party and have fun fun fun. Merry Christmas to you and hope this year’s Christmas was much much better 🎄:)
I feel your pain. As a customer I had no other option but to drive home in a borrowed car from a Christmas family gathering. 11 hours by car and the following week drive it back, fly home. Was brutal
Love your videos...thanks for sharing with us! Would love a video about packing for day trips/ 3 day trips and what bags you recommend (suitcase/tote/lunchbox) and what/how you pack! I've watched all your vids and have gotten some tips but wasn't sure if you have any updates after working more.. Or a video on training essentials and what to/not to pack! :) Sending you all the positive vibes for the new year and your new base!
thank you for watching! I’m going to try to incorporate more advice-like segments in my videos that can help newer FAs on topics like you mentioned. I appreciate the feedback xoxx
Thanks for all the video's! You are down to earth and honest and I love that! I am getting ready to start training for DL and want SEA for my base and it's the best option for my location (Montana). Fingers crossed I get my first choice 🙂. Rando question-where did you get your jacket? I love the look and length. Keep your head up and stay amazing!
Loved this video! Such a great insight as to the FA side of things that we have all been watching unfold on the news. You have the best attitude and video presence! Keep rocking sweet girl! (I'm sending you pics on your Instagram 💜)
it all worked out in the end!! I knew flying during Christmas was going to be a nightmare but the storms really made it a completely different type of nightmare haha
Wow. I was wondering why you haven’t been been posting. I have been considering SEA as my DL base. I absolutely loved and appreciate all the details although they must have been stressful and heartbreaking for you. I am glad it ended somewhat happy for you!
seattle has truly been an amazing base so far!! I was nervous coming from such a massive base like nyc but I’ve come to adore seattle. the flying is decent & I’ve enjoyed all my crews! thank you so much for watching!! xoxx
yes I could have! slc was offered to my class in addition to three other bases. i wanted to fly out of nyc at the start of my FA journey so I chose nyc. I absolutely adored nyc’s flying & the crews & I miss it loads & loads. I left because I didn’t want to commute to nyc during the winter with the unpredictable northeast storms. when I could transfer, slc wasn’t an option for me. hoping to get into slc soon 🤞🏼 thanks for watching!
You film these sequences so beautifully, and with such perfect music. A real talent for this.

What is a turn over, thank you for sharing all ur knowledge but this is confusing
Could you have chosen SLC as your base instead of SEA?
