I AM!!!! The best time in Country Music!! I don't like today's Country too much, I'll take these days again! R.I.P. Daryle and God Bless You're Family.
So do I. Gimme a bar where they play Garth, Daryle, Alan Jackson, Sawyer Brown, Clint Black and Hank Jr, and let's not forget our 2 favorite Georges, Strait and Jones.
Aint that the truth. Now days you got this pop country with people like Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan. I would rather hear the classics like Willie Waylon Hank and Merle
thats because they are pushing white genocide by making everything sound black. they want anything that sounds white to seem old or outdated. this is not done by mistake. the war on whites continues in the media every day. just study who the real media owners are. zionist (NWO) New World Order.
RIP Daryl you left this earth to early uou be truly missed but not forgotten you will live in heart ♥️ forever and always and your music will be played and all song will become a classic and no matter how much time gose by everybody will konw how much you was loved by your fans and how talented you was
R.I.P. Daryle. To your fans who love your music and believe you are one of the great artists who truly understood that pure country music sound, your passing leaves a hole in our hearts.
My family & I was staying in a motel in Waynesburg, PA the night Daryl & his band was playing at the local fair. When they came to the hotel the bus driver got the bus stuck pulling into the hotel parking lot & had to get a tow to pull it out. We were all standing outside the hotel watching what was going on & Daryl came walking up the driveway & as he was going into the lobby to check in, he passed by my daughter & I standing there & I asked him if he was having too much fun yet & he laughed and came over & was chatting with us. He was a heck of a nice guy & he stood there & talked to us while the tow truck pulled the bus outta trouble. And his bus driver got it stuck again on the hill coming up into the hotel driveway, so they had to call the tow truck back & do it all over again. Him & all his band were really nice guys. I've got a picture with him outside the motel the next morning as they were checking out. I'm sure his bus driver never forgot that night! That was in June of 1999 when this song hit the country charts!
What a song, unreal that he is gone . Life comes at you fast and that’s for Sure . I ain’t never had too much fun .A theme song for all of us in our younger years, that’s for sure . RIP ol boy keep them on their toes in heaven and thanks for the great songs and memories
It is really sad to hear that he passed away. He put out a lot of good music in his day. This song was one of my personal favorites. This song just makes me want to get up and dance
YEAH.....eindelijk een echte Country zanger. Hoort thuis in het rijtje......Tim Culpepper, Wesley Dennis, Shane Worley, Daryle Singletary. Zingen ''REAL COUNTRY''
RIP Daryle... This was ALWAYS one of mine and my dad's joint favorite songs... big loss in the country music world. We will forever remember you fondly Daryle!!
rest in peace Dayryle and thank you for leaving not only footprints in country music but also thank you for leaving them in our hearts ....you will be missed by many God Bless and go rest high on that mountain ....
I remember the day daryle died. My dad is a massive fan of country music so of course after hearing the news he had to honor him by playing some of his favorite songs. That was the first time I’d heard this song or daryles voice and it stuck with me. I still pull out that old cd sometimes and listen to it. It brings back memories to that night dancin in the kitchen singin “blue lights flashin” as my little sister always called it. RIP
I remember listening to it on a Chicago radio station for the first time in June 1996, the Chicago Bulls went back to their winning ways, starting their 2nd 3-peat, the Dallas Cowboys won Super Bowl 30, Texas two lane roads upped their speed limit from 55 to 70/night: 65. (-10 d/n for trucks).
Dustin Howell man I sure miss the 90s cause women knew how to wear denim ya no ? like that chick a1.14 and 1.15 and 2.16 and 2.17 , the style of women's jeans looked very good lol
RIP Daryle.. 46 is mighty young to go dying on us. But when the good Lord wants ya, that's all she wrote! You were ~24 when you did this song, and I was 11 (back in '96). Thanks for such a fitting theme song in so many of our lives! [=
Ira Latham. Oh wait what am I thinking their are tons of nice looking women i meant to mention the one I was talking about at 1.11 in the black shirt and jeans and at 1.15 1.16
Third time is the charm. However, if I have an morons commenting I'm done. Ok let's begin. Wow this is such a good song. Brings back great memories from childhood. I'm actually old enough to remember hearing it on the radio in the 90's. So many songs get looked up because some random nobody (youtuber) mentioned it in a video. To go back to simpler times would be grand.
Who listening to this in 2024 ??????????????
Still my favorite!
Me!!!!!

Hello from Scotland, Chael Sonnen.
I really miss all the old country singers
So do I. Gimme a bar where they play Garth, Daryle, Alan Jackson, Sawyer Brown, Clint Black and Hank Jr, and let's not forget our 2 favorite Georges, Strait and Jones.
They play only 60's to late 90's [no trap-beat] on 97.5 here in Wichita Falls and surrounding areas.

He knew real country.
AmnScottNN most under rated man in country music. He was damn good.
AmnScottNN how old was he?
46
He did
This is as pop as Daryl ever got. And its still 1000 times more country than any thing played on modern "so called country" radio since 1996
Aint that the truth. Now days you got this pop country with people like Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan. I would rather hear the classics like Willie Waylon Hank and Merle

The sad thing is that Nashville wont let country go back to the good ole days. They insist on this pop crap

Cool story! Why in the world did the bus keep getting stuck in June? Washed out gravel driveway?
I love this song. RIP Daryl.
