@@znx_-qe6re I think Stevie was more complete than any of them......except for john Barnes all others are eliminated for longevity itself.......no other player had to go through what Stevie had to go through....with your own club just having patches of greatness and all the top teams in the world wanting you.....plus on a personal level ..he has the most pl team of the year appearances ever......uefa recently named him as part of the champion leagues best ever XI.....the only English player in that....his tactical versatility was outstanding...in istanbul...he ended up playing right back at back end of the second half and in extra time.....the Gerrard final in the FA Cup in 2006....was perhaps the greatest ever individual performance seen in England....and even more than that....liverpool still have hordes of fans all over the world.....Stevie g is a major reason why ...it was a time when the premier league was truly going global.....in the midst of chelsea being bankrolled....and the great arsenal teams....and also those bastards(a sign of begrudging respect) in Manchester......Stevie carried our brand...I don't think any single player has contributed to the net worth of a club than Stevie...

What happened to Riera? Why he left the club after only two years? I'm a brazilian supporter of Liverpool and i never understood. Albert Riera was a very competent winger and his partnership with Fábio Aurélio was something interesting.
