What intrigues me the most about this music is the fact that it's placed so obscurely for a vaguely unique monster like the Eruzerion. It honestly has no right to sound this unbelievably epic as a symphonic outrage that contributes nothing to it's half fire and half ice design or Zinogre rehash behavior. And yet this is the final verdict. This is unreasonably innovative and I like it Edit: After experiencing this monster myself, I can confirm that the fight with Eruzerion Phase 2 really feels like an epic showdown of dancing to the death, while the first phase completely acts as a warm up until the pace is suddenly increased tremendously high far beyond words to describe. And both themes give off powerful vibes of ballet all throughout the whole scenario. Truly an amazing performance. Both music wise, and in game. Glad I saw it in time
"To represent Monster Hunter Frontier's tenth anniversary, a new monster was added to the game as the Flagship Monster for the update. The representative of this update is an Elder Dragon known as Eruzerion, the Burning Zero Dragon." "Like Keoaruboru, no legends or documents of this monster exist, making it a mystery to the Guild. Eruzerion was found at the top of the Tower after an accident occurred during an investigation there, leading to its discovery." "Covering most of Eruzerion's body are pointed scales made of a metal-like material that protect its body from attacks. From their pointed nature, they are sharp to the touch. Though scales mostly adorn it, Eruzerion also has a mane of fur covering both sides of its body." "From shoulder to tail, the sides of its body are covered in this temperature resistance fur and said fur will change color depending on the temperature of its environment. Eruzerion is known as the Burning Zero Dragon because of its ability to control both fire and ice." "Inside of Eruzerion's body are two powerful sacs, and the temperatures of both of them influence one side of its body. Its right side is an icy blue due to an intense cold coming from one sac while its left side is a fiery orange due to a burning heat coming from the other sac." "These two elemental sacs cause both sides of Eruzerion's body to be completely different colors and temperatures from one another, and it seems they also influence its horns. The right one has become more durable while its left one is too hot to touch." "Like Disufiroa, Eruzerion can use both elements at the same time, but it can easily lose control of them as well. If the opposite element is used on one side (Fire on its right side, ice on its left side), it'll temporarily lose control over one of them, leaving it vulnerable." "When it loses control of an element, its scales and fur will turn gray on whatever side, indicating that it has temporarily lost control over one of its power, but it will regain control of an element after a short period of time." "Eruzerion is considered to be a highly intelligent Elder Dragon that combines the burning fury of fire with the freezing tranquility of ice. It knows how to use both effectively against enemies, and it will combine both to end its foes." "Eruzerion brought a new element in Monster Hunter Frontier called Burning Zero (Japanese 灼零), which is a combination of Fire (125%) and Ice (125%)." *Source: BannedLagiacrus Twitter page*
"The final Elder Dragon to be released with this update for Monster Hunter Frontier was Burning Freezing Eruzerion, an Extreme Individual of Eruzerion. Unlike the normal one, this Eruzerion has black scales and elemental energy flowing from its body." "Like other Extreme Individuals, Burning Freezing Eruzerion is considered to be one of the strongest monsters in the entire game, and, much like Zenith Species, it can cause Extreme Blights. This individual has truly mastered control over fire and ice." "It's unclear how Burning Freezing Eruzerion came to be, but it's likely an extremely old individual with immense power." *Source: BannedLagiacrus Twitter page*
@Xavier Azhar I know you typed MH Frontier's corpse before you edited it right there, random person in the internet Had you red my posts about Frontier monsters only? Because I also did the still alive mainline series monsters.
i be honest. When I clicked on the video with it's mini picture i though the Ice horn was a top hat... good luck getting that out of your brain i can't take this monster seriously anymore.
@@nargycu8214 My guess is that it's very obvious because the fire side is weak to water and the ice side is weak to fire, meaning that we only have two elements that we can bring and only focus on one of the sides that is weak to it. If its just weak to both fire and water all together, that is wack.
@FinalHunter As overboard as it is I still like it. I'm saying it's overboard because of those *magnificent horns* looking too large for it and the blend of colors being very bright. Plus all the fire and ice emanating from it is pretty weird. It's hard to explain, I never said I hate it though.
I have to agree. Monster Hunter, although you are going around fighting giant monsters, has at least some plausibility to their designs. This one looks very fantastical and hard to look at.
@@cosmomanperson2910 That's because it's a colab from PSO2. If anything doesn't seem like it fits Monster Hunter, it's almost definitely from a colab event.

I wonder if this can use both elements at the same time.
My first time ever seeing this monster.
Yes it can
@@nargycu8214 Can it inflict both blights?
@@cireoath336 I think so. It's weird because it's weak to both fire and ice as well, which is wack.

It looks wack for an MH monster. Ahhh what am I saying? It's Frontier...
