The only problem I can see in the sparring system the pros have is that they will only sparr with their pro friends, so there’s a point where you might reach the highest of respectable elos (2700s) and be ignored by the pros, inevitably getting stuck in terms of skill Reason as to why the pro scene hasn’t changed many faces in so many years 😔

So for all those who complain queing . better players. This is the optimal way to improve. even if you lose just. go back to the replay and learn. your mistakes and try to avoid them their next game.good luck every body✌
I totally agree when it’s players like 100 elo better but when it becomes pro player at 2700 vs fresh diamond, that’s when it gets bad, but I honestly agree it’s beneficial to see a what a player better then u is doing

If they just capped the elo at 2200 or something, then only the best players would stay in diamond. And obviously to get valhallan you're gonna earn above 2200 elo but still queue into 2200 elo (idk if this makes sense, but basically you can get infinite elo but it would still only match you against 2200s).
they added valhallan like that i think bc u can't do the same thing like the other ranks, mostly for the avatars, doesn't look good havin tier 30 diamond (plat, gold and silver too) and tier 4 valhallan rank (S26 valhallan was arrived), that's weird, and yeah they reach more than 2700 against semi pros or low tier diamonds and that don't help tbh, just free elo with no experience, i reached 2300 without a gamer pc, (it's a fucking laptop which have 45 or 30 hz and 200-300 fps on brawl) and damn that was so annoying, i mostly doge perfect for experience in which time he will want to attack than the reaction time i have bc i can't react seeing the move bc 45 HZ CAN'T SHOW U THAT SHIT.
