I dunno if it's hitbox sizes or what, but I still have a hell of a time (at times) hitting the bell after dropping it next to a boss. I can be clicking directly on it, and the dude will still pivot away from it to hit the boss directly, instead.
Yeah, that's an issue with autoaim, especially on controller. So many times my monk flies around and doesn't even try to hit the bell...sigh...
There is a skill you can toggle on the move set. It's Auto Aim, if you turn this off you can manually select the target. I had this issue with Merc shooting random things but with aim assist off incan select the target
I have the opposite issue (kb and mouse) that my char always targets the bell even if I'm facing literally the opposite direction (aiming away from the bell with my mouse as well ofc) he does a 180° flick onto the bell. Super annoying, died to that many times
This happens a lot WITHOUT charge staff. But with charge staff active it don't happen..... for me anyways
@ Now that's interesting. It's usually in the heat of the moment, so I'd normally assume my charge staff is on, buuuut...now I dunno
I wish they would fix where you can't move stuff to your stash or in The relic box inside the places where you get your ascendancy points. If you hit the automatic stash button on the remote or on your computer it just drops them on the ground instead of putting them in your stash you have to one by one put them in there
This is the number 1 reason I don't do trials 😂

It is very annoying, but it's also a very niche issue with a pretty simple workaround (to just manually move it instead of using quick move), so it likely isn't a super high priority, unfortunately.

For me it was the only “patch”. The patch reset my skill binds, moved my left only hud to having buffs in the middle of screen now causing me to look in a whole another area while playing monk charge staff.. the maps still blacking out after I leave. Quality still not available on consoles to view before hand you still have to use a prism on a skill just to view what the quality will do. Used to just press r3 and it’d show.. wtf is actually going on 👀

Yea I was bummed my console accounts all got the binds reset and now my buffs are mid screen I have to look left bottom, mid bottom and all over screen for monsters. Not just left bottom and monsters anymore, a whole nother place to look…yippie. Lol zoom out would be great but damn us console players get all the bs. Still blacks out the maps after I leave, how is that possible 3 months in 😂

Does anyone else experience while playing the game suddenly pauses and freeze up?
happened twice for me. One during the 4th boss in chaos trials and one doing a map boss. But I got to log back in and the boss is still there to fight.
Try going to Sound Options (yes I know it sounds silly) Set your Channels to Low and remove reverb and restart game. This not only fixed all my crashes but gave me extra fps. Found this tip on reddit and it changed my game so much
that can be the servers. its EA. very eary access. alot of work going on at GGG.
the game also just pauses if you are losing connection so if your internet sucks that could also cause that potentially.

and this was a problem in poe 1 so it moving over would also make sense.
Happens to me in trials map, the game feels like it's trying unlife itself
they need to do more drastic patches more rapidly to actually test things, treating this as real seasons is not the right move.

Yeah this feels like a minor patch 2days after a major patch kinda content. Instead it's a major patch for them. Not 1 thing in this felt like a notable addition
I think most of the development team is focused on actually completing missing content such as classes and acts
1 shot mechanics(like you mentioned) and on death mechanics need a huge overhaul. 1 shots negates the entire purpose of SCALING and quite frankly is a piss poor excuse at being a difficult game when we all know that proper scaling and balance is simply escaping GGG.
As an SSF gamer I love getting through the campaign ungeared af then hit up maps and be 1 shot by things that see me as soon as they're on screen. I think the devs dont understand how to rebalance things after removing life nodes from the passives tree. Removing it makes it easier to understand but now you depend on your gear to roll life so you can survive. Dont get lucky well then too bad your screwed enjoy 1 shots because you dont have the stats for it. A less shit crafting system fixes this problem easily
I have literally never died to anything killing me over time. Every single death I've endured in my near 500 hrs in the game was the result of being one shitted.
Even on my non squishy build. It's honestly pretty infuriating when you can spend 8 hrs or more gaining 10%xp after about level 92 only to have all that time and effort rendered completely useless by one volatile plant projectile (or whatever it is) you couldn't even see in the first place.
Yeah the fact I can be 1 hit without even seeing what hit me or no prevention of it is a bit ridiculous. Give us kill log so we can point out all the bugs there. Problem is they know how many issues are in combat system so they will not show us the numbers. I bet when im getting 1 hit im actually getting hit like 100k dmg. Even with 15k "HP" however my HP is between Shield and Mana. 1 hit 15k in endgame gear is wild. Especially not seeing it.
1 shots should just be removed altogether. It's probably the most unfun thing I ever experienced in any video game I've played. The loss of xp when dying in a map is beyond retardation too. I couldn't have come up with these bad mechanics even to piss off my worst enemy lol.

Don't update your windows otherwise that happens I had to roll back my windows update then no more crashes.
enable dx11 it will stop the crashes, its a lower tier of direct x but works for now until windows fixes this issue; its a windows issues not a ggg issue. They stated this in a recent interview with DM and Ghazzy

As someone who plays decompose and has no "hit" to break energy shield, I am really happy about them fixing the ES giving no XP with poisons. I'm level 92 and I'd say about 30% of my XP is missing due to this bug. You couldn't run gains 25% of health as ES maps and about 20-30% of mobs in normal maps have ES. So much lost XP...
I wish GGG would let us turn off spell effects or lower them down by 90%. Sometimes when I first load into a map none of my ice shows up on the ground I'm not having 20000000 things a mob blowing up and my game runs perfect but once all the spells start showing up I go back to playing at around 20 fps. Crazy how games like WoW even had something to turn down spell effect 20 years ago but most games now are missing it. It's cool and all but man I don't need to see 200 comets blowing up 300 ice walls.

The chilli g ground Its Fine... But the shock and the fure ground overlap the oter damage stuff. But yeah make spells transparent.
@lunemay5013 I have a 14700F, with a4080S. It doesn't go all the way down to 20, but it does make the game unplayable because I can't see what the fuck is going on for several seconds.
@lunemay5013 12th gen i7 with a 3070 Ti but I'm gonna upgrade to a better laptop or a desktop soon my kids are getting older. I haven't pc gamed in a long time and picked that up for $500 but games now eat up so much everything to not even look that great. Or you have to wait 30 mins for shaders to load. Gaming kind of took a few steps back since the last time I was on pc.
These upscalers that are now baked into our games are fking around with our performance I'm telling you
I hope this patch is unlike previous ones and all the QoL changes for controller users actually extend to console users and not just people on PC choosing to use a gamepad. Since, ya know, we don't have the choice to use keyboard and mouse (as nice as that would be). Last patch was great in a lot of aspects, but it broke a lot of things in so far as the UI on console.
Speaking of Stun, the "primed for stun" indicator needs some visibility improvements, it's so hard to see sometimes.

yeah those baldy mobs look like they got the indicator on, but really its their head.
also on frozen mobs, you cant really see them. crops up more when you play with a friend who freezes mobs

Make Crossbows reload while using dodge roll.
The concept of Crossbows is so cool but holy hell I hate that rolling makes it cancel reload. I'd kill to have them reload a bit slower and allow to reload during rolls.

And give crossbow some on hit and on dodge effects. Like (gas)grenade on dodge, and ignite on hit
Just reloading in general feels bad and should be removed. Bows are just better versions of crossbows currently.

One option i would like would be a cast on self setting for certain skills. For instance casting a totem on my self
One day they will finish adding the skills for the existing classes in the game. Not sure what planet they though EA would only be 6 months. Enjoyed my time with the EA overall but feels like they overestimated their ability to maintain both games. Will revisit once they add more to game.

They should zoom out your camera when your light-radius is higher. Then it makes sense for rangers to use this stat. But the world is built on the current zoom-level, so adjusting this will bring in an enormous amount of work.
I seen no stash tab and every bug and problem with the game that I posted about besides the checkpoints didnt get messed with. Hoping that changes because a lot of the ones I mentioned screw over mechanics in the game. Such as blinking out of the arena in Ultimatum would cause you to have a VERY hard time coming back into the arena or would brick the entire thing to where you can only leave by teleporting out, which forfeits the ultimatum.
@@HannibalGraham Theres a good solution to that, dont teleport out of the arena. It has worked wonders for me, you should absolutely try it
Happened to me on Viper fight and in Freyhorn < went under map. Controller D/C after third floor boss fight < never doing again. It happened right at end of fight...2 more hits , I win=D/C after the patch that said they fixed it with a nice PAUSE if D/C. Didn't work.
@lunemay5013 crazy thing about that is only the first time that I found the bug I did it on purpose. The rest of the time I was just trying to complete the ultimatum and I would just teleport out of bounds for no reason.
Couldn't find the words "performance" and "optimization". I'll keep the game uninstalled a little longer.

It's not a bug.. it's part of the character's charm. He likes to assess the situation before pulling the trigger. He ain't no b*tc* that just shoots mindlessly. If you dying in this situations, he ain't the right character for you. That or git gud..

@@chrisenglish3476crossbow is just awful in mapping. U shoot, u reload, monster surround u, u dodge, u reload fail, u dodge, u reload fail, u die. Especially in tight spaces with hasted enemies. I died a few times to rituals at those wierd angles where half of the area is inaccessible and monster spawns on top of u
Remember it's faster to switch to your sidearm than reloading!
The game needs some Hardcore optimization on xbox series x, constantly stuttering. I could play on pc but console is way more convenient for me.
Fun game! Exp loss in the late 90s is just a wasted of my time though. One try per map should be punishment enough.

@@finisheseverythitrue true. I like using omen of resurgence because xp loss isn’t a huge deal. The way to gain power past level 90 is NOT those extra 9 points. To gain power after 90 is better gear period.

@402bigjohnson I tried everything. Campaign 40-45. Maping drops to 15. Seems like locations that are not meeting in campaign just unoptimized
good fixes but at this point im at 600 hours so will just wait for new league.

I'm at tier 12 maps and I find myself spending more time on the trading site than playing the game.. They really need to fix crafting so it can be competitive with trading.
It just feels utterly useless trying to craft anything when I can just lurk on the trade site instead.
as a casual ssf player the crafting feels awful. I just recently hit maps and feel completely under geared, at least in D2 you were decently geared as you went up the difficulties and didnt feel stonewalled like POE2 does if your not lucky or playing trade

@flowqi212 The tough thing for me to judge is: is it due to game knowledge, is it due to a weak build, is it due to trying to progress too quickly.. Tough to nail down what causes your experience. The 3 I mentioned would be top of my guesses list.

Its a nice small patch. But I'm done playing in till end game isn't so punishing for non-OP screen clearing builds.

I’ve never been one shotted yet I’m level 91 I have my resistances all maxed out for except chaos (55%) and use grim feast but for me the worst thing is the fire on the ground modif I never run maps with that anymore lmao
@@glimmerxp u probably know this but it helps me a lot to look above the skill bar to see what debuffs are hitting me, for example the burning or shocked ground.
That burning ground in overclocked for sure. Ticking for way more DMG than it should
I have resistances at 90%/87%/87%/75% with an extra 15% above the cap to nullify elemental weakness curse and I still get one shot sometimes. Burning ground does literally nothing to my life bar though so i have no idea what game you are playing.

yo man these are good changes, I'm excited to see what they do next! I do not own a PC and as far as I can tell there is no performance improvements. End game ps5 is 10 FPS if you are lucky it is so unplayable that I launched diablo instead, not a good place to be in.

Yet still no "Waystone Tab/affinity" were at 2 months since launch this is absurd. Considering in your interview they said we would have it asap. Its just such a weird ans dumb thing to still be waiting on.
Hopefully this solves the constant crashes, particularly an issue when gaming on a virtual display
I'm pretty much done with the game until melee stops sucking as well as xp penalty and 1 attempt maps are gone. See ya'll a year from now after GGG pulls their heads out of their rears.

This patch introduced a legacy bug from POE1 where your Nvidia GPU seemingly is no longer found, and instead of pinging the gpu again it just throws and error for game crash. Could be either the new Nvidia game ready drivers or the new patch, or a combination of both.
They also borked the zoom on the Atlas map, it can no longer be zoomed out as much.

I never even realized I wasn't getting XP from enemies with ES cause they died from poison. I wonder how often that happened lol
1 shot with nothing in sight nothing on the ground is a common occurance for me. Thank god im not HC, I'd be pissed more than I am at the devs. These kinds of things should be fixed instantly.
Devs want us the player to be playing slower yet the moment monsters are a pixel on our screen they're jumping us and simultaneously firing ranged attacks. This kind of shit is forcing us players to be screen clearers which is contradictory from what they've said they want. I dont understand what GGG is thinking as I am someone new to POE
@@RandomGuyCDN they didn’t have a solid base for the endgame so they took a lot of poe1 mechanics with a littler twist. My hope is they’ll treat it as a placeholder and completely overhaul endgame because if they keep trying to build off the groundwork as it is now this game will not reach even close to its total potential. The campaign was fkin amazing and a lot of people are echoing that sentiment so if GGG listens as well as some say they do they’ll know we want slower paced tactical gameplay. Screen clearing gets so old so fast
Increased font size is huge for me, I'm using projector with ps5 and I was unable to see timers/tooltips properly before, now It's a way better
There has to be another one way to punish us for dying besides losing copious amounts of xp
I would prefer it start taking gold, and only eat XP if you don't have the gold to cover the death cost. Like 25k gold per death

at lower levels it's not actually too bad once one solves the skill issue and stops dying OFTEN; at latest levels there's orb of amelioration, preventing 75% of the xp loss, so dying remains painful but not overly so.

I want to play poe2 again but not having an instant buyout system makes the game so annoying to play for me, particularly when selling items.
I jist hope they fix the issue where the game will freeze my whole windows.

I've seen a couple of players complaining about it, me included. Tbh I get really scared when it happens, because I need to force shut down the whole PC by pressing the power button 4s 😬. Never had any game crashing this hard since Windows XP 😵💫

What Iwould like to see done in terms of UI changes, and mind you it's a very minor gripe, is when you have atlas map open pressing Esc should close atlas last, not first (in other terms, make Esc close open map node and inventory first rather than closing atlas)

It's meant to prevent exp farming. The map resets when the char that started the map dies.
@ thats what i am unsure of right know, they talked about that before, that they needed to solve players resetting the breach by dying, but i dont know what they did for loot. Because YES, if loot drops, and you are at 0% exp when opening the map, then indeed it would be best to die as many times as possible and then kill the boss to get the most our of it. But for loot you could also farm any other content in the game too, since the drops are more focused to bosses in POE2 than they where in POE1. Time will tell, but in general this is done to prevent some exploiting and not to "punish" players just for the sake of it. dying should never be something you WANT to do and i can understand that.
@@dennisvogel5982 You people need to learn to read :D If you die before the rewards have dropped, you will restart the at start of the map and 0 loot would have dropped. If you die after the loot has dropped (basically if you die to the boss) then you will respawn right before the boss. There's no way to farm the loot over and over. The reason they removed the EXP from the mobs after you've already died is because once the person that started the map dies, everyone resets. Therefore you could enter a Breachstone with 1 of your friends, clear almost till the end, you as the owner of the map die and your friend will respawn back at the start with you. Only you will loose EXP. They prevent that from being abused by disabling EXP gained from mobs after you've already died once.
The chimera ultimatum bug where it vanishes actually bricked an early character and had to reroll. Since I couldn't do the next ascendacy points so it's good they fixed that.
That’s not really a brick, just keep playing until another one drops, but I can see how it would’ve been frustrating

Happened to me a few days ago, I deleted and reinstalled and it finally fixed it. I tried switching servers and changing DNS but nothing worked until reinstalling

I tried it for the first time a few days ago because I finally collected 300 shards and the last 2 waves were a little rough but i got through it without a problem. Then the last boss wave I manage to kill the side boss and get the main boss down to 30% and suddenly i get one shot fuk meee.
wth…. There was always an advanced info mode on controller to show the Item level and the ranges using L3. What’s dumb af is that L3 is also the [Search] button… so you hold down L3 over an item and then when you want to look at another item, zips the focus over to [Search] so you have to navigate all the way back to the next item. Here’s a tip for you controller players, if you go to the shop and then buy / sell gear, then hold down L3, hit O (while holding L3) then O again, let go of L3… You always have advanced info showing. So no more having to deal with that crap. I did it by accident today right after the update and thought it was just what GGG did, until I connected my Dual Sense ps5 controller and the advanced info was gone. Then I spent hours trying to reproduce it and finally figured it out :P
Good luck to all Path of Exile content creators, you guys are in for a tough 6 months or more. I think by 2026 things will be on track, but because GGG refused to make a timeline now everything is up in the air. GGG created distress once again by a lack of communication.

Bro glanced over the couture of crimson persistence buff bug, but I have literally been waiting for that bug to be fixed for a month. It is absolutely game breaking for all leech builds, but for it to now be fixed is absolutely amazing. I literally stopped playing the game because of this bug. Like no joke.

It is always interesting to see someone who suffers from ADHD and a PD, is able to still present a decent video description on a computer game.
Things that could've been added within a week get added 3 weeks later. With this pace the full release of PoE 2 isn't coming in December of 2025.

Finally they fixed the bug that got me to level 70 with a bloodmage only capable of having the first 2 nodes of ascendancy hope no one else had to experience that

are trials of sekhema bugged w/ instant failure? do certain effects like burning ground need some adjustments to their tickrates? will they ever figure out performance?
Everytime i have an issue in PoE 2 it reminds me how amazing PoE 1 was. Its not a perfect game, but it always had good options for builds and playstyles so the fun factor was always there.
I really hope they go back to PoE 1 development sooner than later. I also really miss the core pc focus in gaming.... everything is watered down with console mechanics now(or worse, mobile game features!).
As a new player that didnt play poe 1 It's wild how POE2 didnt start in a better state. Like they didnt take all the good poe1 things as a foundation.

Minion change sounds good but hope it works. I got all the way through the 4th ascencion Trial of Sekhemas and all my pets got locked outside of the boss arena, so i was doing zero damage for the entire fight. Did not take much damage but honor got reduced to the point where i failed the fight. (rage ensued). I also knew about, but did not bother to implement, the weapon swap trick to respawn my pets (because i had not needed it till this point), so that would have bypassed the problem. Have yet to try the trial again, still pissed off about it.

EDIT: I guess I'm hitting the boss with charged staff aswell as the bell so thats why I'm getting eye of winter proccs

Well, that actually might not be true, the monk nerf might affect 10% of the playerbase from 1 shotting bosses to 2 shotting bosses

@Dinomel0n-hj3xx GGG is now a Tencent entity, so pretty much a AAA studio now. They are not treating POE 2 really better than Blizzard with Diablo 4. At least not every AAA studio is lying as much as GGG did in the recent years.

This patch is a godsend for rangers on controller. The targetting feels so good. No more lag or fps drop from cast on shock. Charms now shown. So good.
Wish my buffs stayed on the same side of my screen as before, now they are in the middle causing me to look bottom left, bottom middle and at the monsters not just bottom left and monsters. My eyes are tracking 3 things instead of 2 now. This only really applies to my monk because of charge staff but still this is a downgrade in performance not an upgrade.
I've got Divine Orb from a strong box today. Maybe they fixed drops or I'm superlucky?
This looks like a lot of pretty solid changes but its actually crazy to see them still nerfing builds lol. The game has lost over 80% of its player base. The last thing they should be concerned about is ruining peoples builds. Its not even a season let people go crazy and have some fun. Overall its a good patch but not enough for me to log back into poe2 especially with the nerfs thrown in there for basically no reason at all. I feel like they can't help themselves at this point they seemingly always have to at least nerf one build for the game each patch lol.
I think most players dont care what or how fast other players clean house as long as their gameplay feels smooth and rewarding.
@@markoniksic3630 Absolutely! I understand them wanting to balance skills/builds eventually but right now there are so many major glaring issues with end game and other various things they could be working on instead of taking time to crap on one particular build that's performing okay.
