After almost 10 years, I felt so nostalgic about the original video that I had to go to the fre***ing dailymotion to be able to relive such piece of masterpiece B)
What I love about this even more than the music and lyrics and everything else, is the massive energy they have, which is sadly really lacking from a lot of bands nowadays. It's an energy that's simply impossible to create artificially. And holy fuck, do they have energy and passion for their music, you can hear that easily.
Aja's voice is amazing, but it's the passion she brings when she performs that makes them great...if you haven't heard Nico Vega live and up close, you haven't heard them yet...
How this song doesn't have more views or more likes, it´s damnly a fucking hymn for this age in that all America is living seriously thugh times THIS SONG REPRESENTS THE MODERN ROCK, AND THE ROCK IT'S STILL ALIVE
I find it funny people complain about their favorite bands getting views because it was on a video game. Guys. Here's some marketing lessons for you. They, the artists, did that because they want the people to find out their band through the game, which they would see how awesome it is, and then purchase their merchandcise. Whoa. Mind Blown.
I liked her earlier stuff much better. This loud music drowns out her beautiful vice and she has a fantastic voice that does not need to be screaming like she is in these new works.
Is this directed at me? Because I was making a comment about someone who decided that people that had discovered the band through Bioshock Infinite ads (as I did) were somehow less worthy viewers and THATS STUPID. I totally agree with what you've written.
Aja's such an awesome singer. I love Nico Vega :) And, get this, if you didn't already know - Aja Volkman and Dan Reynolds are married, and they took Arrow on tour and GAH. Someone smack me, I'm turning into a fangirl. O_O
Why? It got them exposure and their pockets are none the less heavier as a result. The minute ANY band takes a dime for their art they are a business and this was a great business decision.
For the record I knew about cage the elelphant before borderlands. This song not so much but shouldn't it be enough that I liked it enough to want to listen to it some more?
Am I the only one here that knows about this song from something else other than Bioshock? I don't have a problem with it being in Bioshock, I'm just curious :P
How is that sad? If you truly liked the band wouldn't you be happy for them that they made a deal that brought them a TON of attention, which in turn will help them make more money. Which in turn will probably equal more records...?
If it makes the hipsters who want to feel exclusive very happy, I came to this song because of a trailer. However, like all bands I come across due to trailers/commercials, I only end up liking that ONE song. All in all, I don't give two flying dicks about this band or their other songs. But I do wish them success and a piece of the multi-million music industry pie.
Don't expect anyone to give a fuck about the game, I just don't see how it's 'sad' that people where introduced to Nico Vega through it. Now the fact that EVERYBODY has to say where they found the music, does get a bit annoying.
Man, if NIco Vega was in the 80s-90s they would have been so popular.
Crow Stripe If they were in the 60s and 70s during the Hippie Movement they would would've been Gods
Crow Stripe I'm 16 and I love this song, so that doesn't mean she hasn't got a place in the history books.
@@Jack_Gibby I'm not sure if you'll see, but hi there! I'm 15 at the moment, I like this song so much
Without a doubt bro, look how in 2021 still shaking ans shaving skins
After almost 10 years, I felt so nostalgic about the original video that I had to go to the fre***ing dailymotion to be able to relive such piece of masterpiece B)
Yeah what happened? Why was it removed from here?
Bioshock Infinite has gotten this band so much publicity
Keep it up Nico Vega!!

It's an energy that's simply impossible to create artificially.

Still takes me back to Bioshock. Actually led me to nico vega.
First heard this on 2k and now I’m jamming to this all the time
Aja's voice is amazing, but it's the passion she brings when she performs that makes them great...if you haven't heard Nico Vega live and up close, you haven't heard them yet...
This is the anthem for 2020 America.
We ain't going down like this.
How this song doesn't have more views or more likes, it´s damnly a fucking hymn for this age in that all America is living seriously thugh times THIS SONG REPRESENTS THE MODERN ROCK, AND THE ROCK IT'S STILL ALIVE
Good times. I love listening to this even in 2021

@@rolotomassi6613 are you sure?
I love this song very good BRO, congratulations for the work
i have found so many good songs from video games, and to add to that, i honestly learn much more from video games than i do from school
got the funk and rasp of ac/dc. absolutely gorgeous music.
My favorite one from now to the eternity.
I liked her earlier stuff much better. This loud music drowns out her beautiful vice and she has a fantastic voice that does not need to be screaming like she is in these new works.
BIOSHOCK INFINITE + NICO VEGA is the equivalent of YOU + MUSIC.
A came through a lutece tear and ended up in awesome
I bet money Nico Vega doesn't see it that way, because just like music, video games are art.
Lived, lives, will live.
que pijuda esta esta cancion. que potencia de voz WAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
wipe the debt...what a masterpiece.
I only discovered them today and I already want to.
Is this directed at me? Because I was making a comment about someone who decided that people that had discovered the band through Bioshock Infinite ads (as I did) were somehow less worthy viewers and THATS STUPID. I totally agree with what you've written.
DANG! THIS SONG IS AMAZING!
My favorite song!!!!!!!!
I loved the video clip of this song so bad it was removed, does anyone know why it was removed?
The lead female singer of this song reminds me of a young Joan Jett. ❤ I love it.
Great song !!
I'm here because a band I like is going to cover Gravity, and I wanted to hear more. and I love it. @_@
Thats true... I usually listen to all kinds of different music.
Agreed
I cant remember where i heard this song but wad not bioshock infinite, i never played that game. If someone knows where else it played hir me up.
first time i heard this song i thought it was Joan Jett. just such an AMAZING and powerful voice she has so much potential.
Actually I think this sounds kickass.
Why did you remove the official clip ?
Whenever I listen to this, I imagine that I'm killing Bioshock Infinite enemies with Booker and Elizabeth.
Which is why he says "it's the passion SHE brings"
Aja's such an awesome singer. I love Nico Vega :)
And, get this, if you didn't already know - Aja Volkman and Dan Reynolds are married, and they took Arrow on tour and GAH.
Someone smack me, I'm turning into a fangirl. O_O
Separados.
just means your band is gonna get more well deserved publicity thanks to just a game, sounds good to me xD
my only problem with infinite making this more popular is that that's the only thing the comments talk about, otherwise it's awesome
Heard this song before Bioshock. Glad it's getting that kind of exposure all thanks to an awesome game. Vampire Acadmey can jump off a cliff though.
I picture fitzroy singing this everytime i hear it
this is great in the bioshock traller
That drum...
Stand: [Beast of America]
Stand Master: Nico Vega
well i take that back im not here just because the video game has it im here because it introduced me to it
This is the most awesome song in the entire motherfucking world
Why? It got them exposure and their pockets are none the less heavier as a result. The minute ANY band takes a dime for their art they are a business and this was a great business decision.
What if i told you a video game DID NOT bring me here. My local rock station plays it. so thank you radio station.

nice
How can I get this song in Switzerland?? It says the track is only in the american store available… :(
I could care less about video games what brought me here was other awesome music.
Vicetone does a SICK remix of this
Thanx bioshock
First song that came to mind following the election results.
thank you -Vivctone-
Goddamn it i have to face this!its my second favorite song, but it reminds me of the end of bioshock infinite which was sad,no be a man!
El diario de Jonathan??
Thought I was listening to Brian Johnson for the first couple of seconds!
Am I the only one here that knows about this song from something else other than Bioshock? I don't have a problem with it being in Bioshock, I'm just curious :P
also... a video game did not bring me here either... randomly came across this group
+1
Good 'till 2:00
if they went into a dance mix thereafter... I may cover it that way ")
To each their own, I don't think its right to denounce an artist because you don't personally like them...
lol wont lie only reason im here
everyone here from bioshock infinite are like people who came from borderlands for cage the elephant's aint no rest for the wicked
How is that sad? If you truly liked the band wouldn't you be happy for them that they made a deal that brought them a TON of attention, which in turn will help them make more money. Which in turn will probably equal more records...?

I AM!(:
By Azura! By Azura! By Azura!
This song goes great with The Walking Dead
We all are..
Spenser confidential brought me here
Why is it that I can imagine Daisy Fitzroy singing this?
How about we listen instead of argue, eh?
I found you!
C'mon people!
It is sad that Bioshock has brought so many to this...
"It's sad that this band that I like has more fans due to a game" - ERROR logic not found.
Is it even possible to drown her voice out? She's got the vocal chords of a tyrant!
Booker battles the founders and the Vox
So you'd prefer Nico Vega to not be supported?
Has a similar feel to Icky Thump.
Don't expect anyone to give a fuck about the game, I just don't see how it's 'sad' that people where introduced to Nico Vega through it. Now the fact that EVERYBODY has to say where they found the music, does get a bit annoying.
Why? If youre a fan then rejoice that the game brings attention to them...
