Yeah everyone's got their own opinions but I'm pretty sure Dallas' girlfriend was killed in a car accident while he was driving. He was mourning her for a long time and need a lot of time. Underoath was just getting big at the time and they had to keep touring so they replaced Dallas with Spencer because Dallas wasn't ready to continue touring. It's pretty sad but they had to do what they had to do.

Since this came out and Dallas Taylor fronted the band (until their third album with him) I called them black metal. Black metal is a form of music, not necessarily satanic or dealing with the occult. If you commonly associated the two, thats a legitimate thought. Its like stereotyping, which normally has some sliver of truth to it. But if you're a musician and you say black metal is only satanic, your a stupid musician for not grouping music according to the freaking music. Old Underoath-BRUTAL

I kinda think its all about when you started liking underoath. I like the new underoath because I knew them first. You probably started with the old underoath. I think they are both good in different way.

those 2 guitarist look a little to old to be playin with underoath and the rest were like at 23-25 around there. but the 3 guitarist look like they are in their 40's

its not black metal though... its black metal core.. cause it has slower points/break downs. black metal is play really fast really horribly with no sense of direction for your song.some bands are exceptions..but 99.9 percent...
