+Don Hill It was around 500' according to the vario. It certainly felt low enough that I unzipped briefly. The climb up was fun, but the video doesn't capture the final move upwind to the best line that eventually got me back up above the peak. I definitely got drilled on the way back from Ed Levin, and the altitude gained on the return middle climb was completely nullified by the poor exit timing and line... which is what placed me a 500' above the landing at 2:43:00. If not for wanting to retrieve the truck up top, I probably would have just landed!

You need to stop flying so long, or get an external battery so we can see your landings ;)

+BayAreaHG Or, as you suggested, I need to start practicing more top landings! :) I almost landed on my return from Ed Levin, but I wanted to climb back up, top land and retrieve your truck! The climb added about 45 minutes to the flight. Next time! (BTW, it was a good landing).
