- We spent a few nights at the amazing Biltmore Hotel in Miami, Florida. The Biltmore is one of the most historic hotels in all of Miami and perhaps in the United States. It’s situated in the upscale neighbourhood of Coral Gables. The hotel recently went under a huge renovation and the results are beautiful!
We take you on a tour of the hotel including our room (junior suite), the lobby, restaurants and grounds (includes a golf course) and we also fly the drone to get a better view of the property.
The favourite part of our stay was getting the opportunity to have a private pool cabana. The pool is one of the best part of this beautiful hotel and when it was built it happened to be the biggest pool in the United States, these days it’s one of the biggest pools in the Eastern USA. While there we get some lunch and drinks.

From the Second Floor of Flagami Elementary School in West Miami, I could see the top of the Biltmore, what a grand old Lady. My Grandfather worked for the city of Coral Gables, bac in the 1920s until he death in 1947. Dad worked the starter shed on the Biltmore Golf Course until 2005, passed away in 2006. My Brother still plays Golf at the Biltmore, what a Grand Old Lady of Coral Gables. The Miami that I love and miss.
Cool, just moved to coral gables, on obispo near the granada golf course. Going to make my first trip to the biltmore soon!

It's quite the place isn't it? We highly recommend it if you get the chance to visit Miami - Anna
I "skipped" class in high school one day since my cousin had a car and told me "we have to go see this incredible abandoned building." It was a cloudy windy day and this hotel at the time in the early eighties was painted grayish and peeling with thick chains on the doors and only one red flashing light on top of the building with weeds growing around it. You could hear the howling wind going through this magnificent structure and all the broken windows and darkness inside. I've looked for videos of this but never found any. I've never seen a spookier place than the Biltmore when it was abandoned not even in movies.

We heard about that pool but sadly we ran out of time. Maybe someday we'll get to go back and check it out - Trevor
You should check out The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach... Then make your way across the bridge to Clematis Street and CityPlace (Just renamed "Rosemary Square"). We also have fun stuff like Rapids Water Park & America's first cageless zoo Lion Country Safari.

Gee, I'm almost speechless. But I'm to jealous to say anything. It's nice that they give/reduced rates or whatever for their tourism. Us average person would take a week or 2 pay to spend one night there I would imagine. Maybe Trump will let you stay at Mar lago. :-) That was a joke. I was waiting and watching anna through your mirror glasses to make funny gestures to you, but too professional. Hate when that happens. Nice decent video. Thanks.
