@@binhosmingos7356I think you mean Dizzy - she's the only parent featured in this replay (the clone doesn't count). I will admit that ばある's utilization of Wings of Light is quite impressive, but I expect no less from a legacy Guilty Gear player.
Probably didn't know the matchup. Or just doesn't know that it's not a good idea to let Dizzy endlessly blockstring and build the RISC to full. You need to challenge Dizzy on that.
@@thuroria7631 It's pretty hard to do that against that fire projectile thing if she got you in the corner with it, mashing I think only works if you're standing, which Dizzy can challenge with 2K and 2D, and 6P can work but you usually get hit out of the start up, at least in my experience. The only thing that works reliably is YRC and burst, YRC being the better option, cause after burst, she's is too far away to do anything useful.
@@thuroria7631Case 3 is the meta, because it is the strongest of all Test Cases. Every Asuka player understands this - and thus; why it is the most widely used Test Case when playing as Asuka.
@@waitingforzato-1i-noinguil301 i think midrange can work well, but you kinda need both accipiter and terra in your hand for a true mixup, which shouldnt be too hard with tc2. You also cant be yrc'd which is nice. But mixing with low gravity staff, threatening with throw at any point and being able to fuzzy is just stronger imo.
@@Murakami2077You have to block Fire Arrow high to enable the ability to poke out with a 6A or a 5f normal. However, Dizzy can move onto the second layer of the corner pressure and snipe either action with a 2K. However, if Dizzy does 2K, she can be pushed away from the opponent. So the real solution is: Stand Block Fire Arrow so you force Dizzy to do her level 2 pressure. Then FD Low or IBFD Low against the 2K/cS. Either will push Dizzy too far to continue doing Fire Arrow loops. She can just keep doing Fire Arrow instead of doing 2K, but it's a much bigger risk for her to keep doing her level 1 pressure because it has a hard counter.
Arcsys didn't want to give her sauce but instead made her rely on boring setups to win but WoL ToD is fun though. Apart from that, I really dislike that they neglected Necro. There is only 1 special move with him while the rest is all Undine doing ice moves.
Asuka vs. "Mana-less Asuka."
0:08 - 0:23: Right off the bait Asuka got a war time story to tell to his kids/grandkids.
3:01 average Dizzy corner pressure

0:37 where did the tip of the ice go 😮😂
HIGH GRAVITY STAFF MENTION YEAHHHHH
I learned a lot, as expected from Baaru 👍

Wings of light did something?!!
Very interesting Asuka playing up close and not using case 03
Well Komekome is THE test 2 warrior!
I think Test Case 03 is turbo overrated.

Wow, wings work
Interesting match up
We did it, we found the least interactive matchup
Indicating Case 2 is not interactive is an interesting take - when it excels in close-range combat.

Midrange, not close range.

Kinda wanna play dizzy, her 236K looks to easy to just spam with the plus frames
To me she just feels like a mix of Jhonny and Millia put into one
Always painful seeing people on this channel fall for the 236k loop knowledge check
You have to block high and 6P her right?
@@Murakami2077Block high and she becomes minus, so whatever your fastest button is
@@blackreality1071 It's still plus on stand block but not enough to loop back into itself iirc. You will still lose to 2K and even c.S

it's real pressure even if you know. The "answer" requires you to open yourself up to lows.
