Sushanth bro, great work on both your channels, great progression on both aswell, i had an idea for your pitch meetings where you can introduce another character which would be the audience and let the producer be on the listening side of the narration and just be believing the director blindly and producing the movie... this is how your initial pitch meetings were where the producer was kind of convinced with the narration director gave even for a rod movie.. now in your pitch meetings the producer is giving contradicting opinions to the director's narration.. i think the producer being on the victim side would create more fun and the frustation would be let out by the audience.. Usually in movies where there is “realisation arc”, hero (though a genius) makes some arrogant mistakes and then realised his mistakes and makes reparations towards his victims like in “good will hunting” But our Telugu mass audience (especially the leki batch) of every hero cannot digest their hero getting schooled in humility by others, so the entire realisation arc be it in “orange” or in “Maharshi” is half hearted and therefore a damp squib.
I still remember watching this movie in the theatre…. Movie nunchi bayataki vachaka ma daddy annaru, “Enti madhyanam enter aythe vachesariki cheekati padindi… second show ki pothe ayipoye time tellartundemo” Aa movie chusaka nenu ee joke ki kuda navvanu… It was that boring🤣
As I always said, it's srimanthudu part 2. He must do more movies like Khaleja, Nijam, Nani, 1nenokkadine if he wants national awards & be known for acting prowess.
Khaleja, Nani, nijam and 1 nenokkadine are all flops and caused massive losses.. Whereas Maharshi was a super hit.. It's very easy to say he must do movies like that without realizing that he is answerable to the people who have money riding on his films and their safety is of utmost importance.. Yes, Srimanthudu, Bharat ane nenu and Maharshi all felt very similar and monotonous but the fact of the matter is these films worked big time at the box office whereas the "experiments" he has tried have failed.
@@srikanthsv79 I don't think anyone says he can't act. If people have seen his earlier work, I think everyone will agree he is one of the finest performers we have. It's just that his last few films have had pretty monotonous characterisations which have restricted his prowess.
