Thank you for posting this. Several years later, I need to move my apartment and I can't figure out a way to pack it. This TV is still working fine for me.
could you tell me your experiece with the TV? especially regarding the distance of your tv to the sofa. you said it was about 6.5 feet. hows your viewing expereince? is it okay or would you recommend getting a smaller tv?
Usually, I would ignore silly and irresponsible comments like that because to be honest, ''to each their own'' as the saying goes. But what I seriously dont get are apple fanatics who has never even tried anything android and to be honest, the TV is android/Linux based...lol. Criticize ''plastics'' but everyone's iphone that i see are all damaged/dinged/broken glass everywhere but thats ''premium''. Thats how ignorant many are. Its a sad situation but its the truth. Anyway, to each their own!
Well said @barryl1985 I stopped listening attentively right after that irresponsible comment. I also own this 55 inch tv and an S3, S4 and my wife has a Note 8 and I have a N10 and the things that I can do with all these devices with the TV and any other smart TV is by far miles apart from what the iphone/ipad can even come close at doing. So it usually offends people with silly, ignorant and irresponsible comments like those made by @SuperGadgetGuy. Im not offended though, I know the truth.
The stand makes it hard to install by yourself. it's better to get a friend to help. The TV is really big and ultra thin really no good place to hold on to it.
Why on earth does TV have to be so complicated and expensive? It's a box that you turn on, find the channel, watch the programme then turn off. The consumer society means that companies prey on people's unhealthy addiction to screens - apps? Twitter? Uhmmm... no thanks - I wanna watch TV.

This is the one that I will be getting soon. I love the design on top of the actual specs which are great.

Did you say 4 3D glasses ?
Yes, I need to get off my couch and actually make the review video. So far the design and picture quality is amazing. It's so thin.
