The moon map feels like kings canyon. Its so easy to move through the map because of the rails. Its also lots of open ground and little cover when compared to Stormpoint. In Stormpoint, its open too but there’s lots of bushes to hide in and cover to use
I made it to mid D4 about a week ago, currently finding the will to live and haven't touched Apex since. Wish me luck while I go for Masters before I explode

broken moon is actually king's canyon 2.0 in my opinion. it is for rank at least. the constant 3rd parties, the quick rotations and how every POI even the no name ones are always competed over is insane. hence why i'm not a big fan of this map, at all
this sums up my solo q rank experience. Apex sbmm is just to broken. unfair. I never came to master and i was 10rp away. but then every teammates i got while solo q, they just instantly died. And i fell back to beggining

They need to reduce master queues to at most diamond 2. If there's not enough players to queue, then play some pubs until there is. Plats and diamind players can't even reach master because the 5 master 3 stacks in their lobbies are taking 90% of the positive points. Negative points for the plats, diamonds, and I can't believe I can say this but golds. How in the world are masters vs golds?
Literally my entire experience, solo queue to diamond 2 and then get TWO GOLD 4 team mates against the champ squad, pred 2,4 and 51. I got to the end and then got steamrolled by 6 preds, they were teaming and 6 stacking...against gold players.
I think part of the reason Plat lobbies are braindead is that the typical MnK player is good at ranged fights. This ends up rewarding the worse players for sitting far away and sniping. They end up getting an OK placement because they stay far away from other players but once the circle shrinks and they have to engage close range they quickly get purged from the lobby. They can make it to Plat easily but then get stuck.
Not even plat, but silver looks kinda exactly the same, it never feels like playing against peers. Also curious why the ottr says that path inside the building was cheating, this happens a lot where you get just instantly beamed, especially when entering buildings like that, i tried to watch it in slow mo but i cant understand what makes that kill so outstanding :/
It's kinda funny when you know the last team personally 😂 they're all masters starting the grind again, so you didnt watch a real platinum player in the end😅
As someone who just started playing Apex Br, Platinum is botty asf. I solo queued all thru plat and never had issues now I’m stuck D3 cuz no team or comms
this is not a plat lobby, previous rank attributes to the lobbies you play in heavily. This is a previous masters account, in start of season plat, which is all ex masters and pred and high diamond players for the first few days.
Im ok with pubs having players of all skill because non-ranked should have variance. But I am not a fan of rank decay each split. I’m ok with people losing ranks via losses but a natural demotion each split is bad and exacerbates the problem of shown in this video.
Decent platinum players are decent they have some sort of coordination but have a hard time under pressure from what i seen they can hit shots like 75% of the time but are definitely not as good as diamond or higher
Let me save you 10 minutes the answer is mostly trashy, scared, goblin/rats. Usually filled with brain dead octanes, scared wraith and pacifist valks. Oh and 10% 3 stack masters/preds. It's actually kinda fun
Funny how they nerfed heatsink Flatline skin saying that it’s not fair, and not balanced. and threw another flatline skin with good iron sight straight into the shop, but never fix the unfairness of match making just because they are scared of top players will queue for too long and quit the game.
this is only pc and because of the low playerbase higher up onpc it has nthn to do with matchmaking its just impossible to get enough preds and masters or plats together bcuz there arent enough playing on the same servers at any given time
