This is true country music and the older songs I've cried to cause true country died with them sadly, but there are folks like Dillon that miss the old country like the rest of us and try to bring it back. Keep going buddy there are a lot of us behind ya rooting for you

All it took was one listen to this song to earn a pre-order for the whole album. This tune reminds me of riding around with my Dad, with country music on the AM radio and a breeze from the "4-55" (four windows, 55 MPH) air conditioner cooling us down. Those were good times, and hearing "Old Songs Like That" makes me realize it all the more.

I'm a retired radio GM from US-101 Chattanooga and remember well the first time I met Eddie and Troy and fell in love with those guys and their music. Keep it country.
I tried to get my Country Radio Station to play this song, or should I say to put it on their playlist. Here is what I was told, they have three sources they get songs or artist from that are on the national charts, and Dillon Carmicheal is not on any of them. So my opinion is since artist no longer goes on the road knocking the door down to get the station to put their song on the radio, it is probably hard for anyone to get recognition unless they know someone in the music business.

Who could dislike this if you are a country fan?? Only thing I could think would be someone who probably likes the pop trash like Luke Bryan etc. I just discovered this guy on my RUclips music and holy shit haven’t heard a bad song yet, he will be going into my rotation with the other stuff I really like. I really hope this guy comes near Memphis or Little Rock

First time I heard this on the radio, I hadn't heard the introduction and for just a minute or so, I thought it was Merle Haggard, then heard the Haggard and Hank line...well, well, I thought, who is this terrific singer!
